1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Skip Torres! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torres misses with a wild combination.
Briggs fails with the takedown and Torres counters by moving into the clinch. Briggs is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Torres can't fight it off and eventually Briggs manages to take the fight to the floor. Torres looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Torres trying to keep a closed guard but Briggs is proving a slippery customer.
Torres is looking for a triangle but Briggs pushes his legs off easily.
Torres keeping moving, preventing Briggs from controlling successfully. Briggs working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Torres can't control as he wanted to and Briggs manages to get the fight back to his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Torres tries to pass the half guard into mount. Briggs knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Briggs is staying active underneath Torres, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Briggs wants to get back to his feet. Torres tries to pass to full mount but Briggs defends it. Torres passes the guard and advances to mount! Torres content just to control the position here. Briggs wants to control but Torres is having none of it. Torres is trying to take his opponent's back.

And that's the end of the fight! Skip Torres comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Torres has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Ruskov is rocked! Ruskov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tung swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ruskov is still on wobbly legs! Can Tung finish him? Tung steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Ruskov is out on his feet! Tung sets himself and nearly takes Ruskov's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Montana lands a nice hook to Abbiati's body. Abbiati takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Abbiati misses with a jab, cross combination.
Abbiati tries to clinch and Montana cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Abbiati misses with a series of wild punches.
Montana lands a right hook to the body.
Montana swats away the attempt to clinch by Abbiati. Montana wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. No joy there for Abbiati, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Montana lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Abbiati has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Abbiati and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Abbiati closes the distance and pushes Montana back into the cage. Abbiati tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Montana's elbow. Abbiati landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
This has been an exciting period of action! Abbiati keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Montana's efforts to push away. Montana escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
