The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eduardo misses with a low kick as Warzecha jumps back.

Paulo Eduardo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Waldemir Warzecha.

Warzecha closes the distance and clinches up with Eduardo, looking for a takedown. Warzecha pushes Eduardo against the cage but Eduardo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Eduardo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Warzecha has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Warzecha and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Warzecha is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Warzecha is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Eduardo defends well.

Warzecha has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Eduardo doesn't defend quickly enough and Warzecha has managed to lock this one up! Can Eduardo escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Warzecha on a fantastic submission victory.
