Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hanz Der Boss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dominic Soto! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soto buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Der Boss tries to close the distance and clinch but Soto swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Der Boss takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Soto avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Soto leaves Der Boss with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Der Boss throws a series of punches but Soto moves out of range. Der Boss throws a right and a left that Soto avoids nicely. Der Boss throws a left and a right that both miss
and Soto counters with a good low kick that Der Boss was not able to check. Der Boss is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Der Boss drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Hanz Der Boss has been cut. Der Boss avoids the head kick by Soto.
Soto scores with a head kick. Der Boss tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Soto tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Good leg kick by Soto there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Soto lands a big head kick that sends Der Boss tumbling to the mat! Soto takes a step backwards and waves Der Boss back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Der Boss is rocked! A head kick by Soto - that's a beauty! Der Boss is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Soto can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clement looking to score a takedown here. Woleman is defending well but Clement drives through and ends up in Woleman's guard. Clement throwing strikes from guard but Woleman blocks nicely. Clement looking to pass the guard. Woleman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Clement working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Woleman looking to control.

Woleman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Woleman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Clement is not content to let Woleman control the position. Woleman content to control rather than advance. Clement has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The fighters are battling for position here. Clement manages to regain full guard. Nice work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Woleman is sitting in close to Clement's body. Clement has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Woleman is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Woleman is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Clement.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shleifer looks to throw the jab but Tynin is out of range. Shleifer is looking to clinch. Some bone on bone action there as Tynin checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Tynin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tynin. Shleifer shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Shleifer throws a head kick but Tynin moves out of range.

Tynin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Shleifer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Shleifer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tynin counters with a lovely straight right hand! Shleifer goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shleifer scoring well with a low kick there.

Blimm looks for a takedown but Williams sprawls well. Blimm takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Williams stuffs the takedown attempt from Blimm. Blimm gets slowly back to his feet. Blimm is looking to clinch. Williams moves into range and connects with a jab. Blimm will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Williams is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Williams lands the left hand. Williams lands with a thumping leg kick.

Williams tries to kick Blimm off but Blimm keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Williams has one foot on Blimm's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Blimm closes the distance and clinches. Blimm misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Williams.

You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Williams. Williams thows a body shot but no joy. Blimm tries to clinch up but Williams circles away and keeps his distance. Blimm wants to clinch. Williams defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Blimm. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Blimm. That's going to take a lot out of him. Williams lands with an uppercut that bounces Blimm off the cage and back into range. Blimm rushes Williams and presses him up against the cage. Williams throws a punch but it's blocked by Blimm.

Blimm throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Williams's waist but Williams gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blimm off to one side. Williams takes a swing at Blimm's ribcage but misses. Blimm tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Williams swivels and escapes. Williams darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Williams cracks Blimm with an open hand slap. Blimm lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Williams circles away quickly and effectively. Blimm is looking to clinch but Williams is avoiding it.
Blimm shoots in for a double leg but Williams sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Williams connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Williams connects with a right hand. Blimm shakes it off. Williams comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Blimm scores with a jab. Williams jabs Blimm to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Blimm closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Blimm tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Williams avoids it. Blimm pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Williams uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Blimm has time to react. Bobby Blimm is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Williams scores with a head kick. Blimm tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Williams misses with a body shot.
Williams stuffs the takedown attempt from Blimm. Blimm gets slowly back to his feet. Williams fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Williams is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blimm throws a lazy right hand but Williams sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Blimm throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Williams tries a head kick but it misses.
Blimm is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Blimm falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Williams to counter with a crisp jab. Williams lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Blimm looks for a takedown but Williams sprawls well. Blimm looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Williams misses with a wild body shot. Williams scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Blimm swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Williams counters with a low kick, right behind Blimm 's knee. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Williams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Blimm looks to land a combination but Williams avoids it well. Blimm fails with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Blimm's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Blimm shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Williams but Williams pushes him off and we're back to square one. Blimm takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Williams thuds his right hand into Blimm's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Blimm closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Williams to the mat! Williams manages to get full guard. Blimm trying to control the position from guard on top but Williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Blimm is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Williams is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Williams has escaped and now he's on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams tries to free his leg and advance position but Blimm is retaining full guard. Williams slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Blimm wants to sweep here but Williams controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Blimm lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Williams! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blimm looking to finish Williams with some ground and pound. This is bad for Williams! Blimm unloads with some shots from mount but Williams bucks and avoids them well.
Blimm fails to move to back control. Blimm wants to control the pace but Williams is squirming around nicely. Williams regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blimm is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Williams doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Blimm. Williams won't allow Blimm to pass to mount. Blimm is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Williams is just riding it out for now. Blimm eventually gives up the hold. Bobby Blimm has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Blimm is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Williams is just riding it out for now. Blimm eventually gives up the hold. Williams is looking to control Blimm's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Williams avoid being mounted?
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bobby Blimm. I think Williams has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Marquez misses. Marquez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Aoki pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Aoki blocks a jab. Marquez looks to land a combination but Aoki avoids it well. Marquez misses with a hook. Aoki closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Marquez did well to prevent Aoki getting side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marquez is looking to control Aoki's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Marquez avoid being mounted? Marquez moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Aoki ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Marquez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Aoki. Aoki bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Marquez scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Aoki tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Marquez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Aoki uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Marquez. A big right from Marquez misses. Aoki tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Marquez was well out of range. Poor timing from Aoki. Some bone on bone action there as Marquez checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Aoki ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Aoki misses with a leg kick. Aoki scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Marquez doesn't seem bothered though. The fighters circling - Marquez throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Marquez might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. A swing and a miss from Marquez. Aoki clinches with his opponent.

That was a close second round but I would say that Masakazu Aoki will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
