The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bezuidenhout throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Daughtry's waist but Daughtry gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bezuidenhout off to one side.
A jab from Daughtry misses.
Daughtry lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bezuidenhout fails with the takedown

and Daughtry counters with a nice right hand that sends Bezuidenhout toppling to the canvas! Bezuidenhout scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Daughtry finish him?!

It looks like Karl Bezuidenhout has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Daughtry does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Daughtry changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bezuidenhout looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Honda Dedechi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Luxation has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Brock is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Brock seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Brock swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Luxation finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
