The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Fister.

Colt throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fister was covering up waiting for the punch and Colt finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Colt lands a couple of elbows.

Colt decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Fister throws a body punch but Colt moves out of range.
Fister pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Colt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Fister gets tackled into the cage by Colt. Colt maintains the clinch.

Colt decides to pull guard.
Colt looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Colt manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Jacob Buma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

I think Voss might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Here comes the boom!. Josh Sloop will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Sloop bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Voss's head backwards.

It looks like Scott Voss has been cut.

Voss gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Voss is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Sloop to keep the fight standing.
Sloop wants a takedown.

Voss escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sloop tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Voss paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sloop gets tackled into the cage by Voss. Voss maintains the clinch.

Voss could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
