The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colaiuta rushes Victor and presses him up against the cage. Colaiuta with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Colaiuta ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Colaiuta no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Victor postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Colaiuta is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Victor, into his guard. Colaiuta might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Colaiuta is in close to Victor's body, working some short punches and elbows. Colaiuta stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Victor swivels though and keeps the full guard. Victor lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Colaiuta! Victor throws a wild left hand from mount and Colaiuta manages to wriggle his way back to half guard. Colaiuta is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Victor wants to control but Colaiuta is keeping him busy. Victor is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Colaiuta is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Victor's half guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Victor slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Victor looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Colaiuta would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Colaiuta is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Victor has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Colaiuta is looking to defend but Victor has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Colaiuta! Victor pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Colaiuta taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Gnung is letting Thomas control him for a moment. Gnung is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Thomas has just dragged him back down to the mat. Thomas scores with a couple of short elbows. Gnung is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Thomas is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Thomas working Gnung over with strikes here. Thomas is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Gnung has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Gnung is looking to get to half guard. Thomas blocks Gnung's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Thomas looking to control and managing it successfully. Thomas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Gnung has left one of his arms exposed and Thomas doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Gnung screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Zombie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Power sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Zombie somewhat. No joy there for Zombie, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Power feints and as Zombie raises his hands in defense, Power changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Zombie has his feet on Power's thighs here. He's pushed Power off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Power screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jabari misses with a jab, cross combination.
Douglas Maicon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Maicon with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jabari to score with a decent uppercut. Jabari cracks Maicon with a right hand to the side of the head. Jabari misses with an uppercut. Jabari misses with a wild combination.
Jabari throws a hook but Maicon avoids it easily. Maicon closes the distance and clinches. Jabari's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Maicon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Maicon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jabari wants to sweep here but Maicon controlling him for the moment. Maicon stays in close to Jabari's body and controls the position. Jabari controls Maicon momentarily but Maicon frees himself. Maicon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real. Maicon avoids the attempt from Jabari to control. Jabari is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Maicon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Maicon gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Jabari throws a right and a left that Maicon avoids nicely. Maicon gets the takedown into side control. Maicon is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Jabari's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Maicon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Maicon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Zachariah Jabari has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jabari is trying to improve his position. Douglas Maicon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Maicon decides to stand back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Douglas Maicon showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Maicon, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blyer leaves Gunnarsson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Blyer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Gunnarsson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Blyer suckers Gunnarsson into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Blyer is now in Gunnarsson's guard!
Blyer decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Gunnarsson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Blyer avoids it really well and circles away. Gunnarsson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blyer's waist but Blyer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gunnarsson off to one side. Rocky Blyer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Markus Gunnarsson. Gunnarsson looks gassed! Gunnarsson swings away with a body shot that misses
and Blyer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Markus Gunnarsson has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Blyer tries to bum rush Gunnarsson with a series of wild strikes but Gunnarsson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Gunnarsson loses concentration momentarily and Blyer pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Gunnarsson crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Blyer finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taua ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Canonfodder moves away. A telegraphed right hand from Canonfodder misses the target. Canonfodder tries to clinch up. Taua looks to land a combination but Canonfodder avoids it well. Some wild striking there from Canonfodder.
Taua stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Taua wants it to stay on the feet. Canonfodder clinches up with Taua and pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Taua has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Canonfodder avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Taua misses with the body kick and Canonfodder counters with a body kick that stops Taua in his tracks momentarily. Taua falls off balance throwing a combination
and Canonfodder counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Ricardo Taua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Canonfodder lands a nice looking kick to the body.
