Swanson comes to the cage accompanied by Chael Sonnen lowlights. Ki Duk is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by north korea's national anthem. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swanson just misses with a punch to the body.
Ki Duk takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ki Duk keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Swanson. Swanson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ki Duk swivels and escapes. Swanson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ki Duk. Ki Duk moves in looking to clinch but Swanson pushes him off. Bong Ki Duk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Swanson on the wrong end of a nice jab. Swanson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ki Duk as he jumps to the side. Swanson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stig Swanson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Swanson tightens his grip and picks Ki Duk up, before dumping him to the ground. Ki Duk manages to land in guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Ki Duk is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ki Duk can do anything to dispel that myth. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ki Duk has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Swanson is proving hard to escape from. Swanson controlling the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Torrez pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Silva moves into range and clinches up with Torrez. Silva breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Silva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Torrez has him pressed against the cage. Torrez wants to get back to striking at distance but Silva won't allow it.

Eddie Torrez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Silva throws a head kick that misses. Torrez smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A head kick misses from Silva. Torrez punishes Silva's body with a nice straight punch.

and Silva counters with a slapping leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Silva misses with a body kick. Dougie Silva is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Silva bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Silva on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Silva throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Torrez's head. Torrez rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Torrez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Torrez. Silva throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Silva throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Dougie Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brandao throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Brandao lands a head shot. Kenny lands a nice looking kick to the body. Brandao takes a step back to recover. Brandao pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Brandao has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Brandao there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Marcus Brandao has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brandao throws a good cross that connects.
Kenny throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Brandao throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Marcus Brandao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brandao throws a combination that misses and Kenny counters with a shoot takedown. Brandao fights it but they end up in guard. Brandao tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kenny trying to control but Brandao is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kenny advances position into side control!

That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kenny has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Brandao tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kenny wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A right-left combo lands from Keinänen. Keinänen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bryan. That did some damage! Keinänen checks a leg kick nicely. Keinänen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bryan.
Keinänen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Keinänen thumps Bryan with a low kick. Keinänen looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Bryan tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Keinänen is able to avoid easily. Bryan throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Osmo Keinänen has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bryan swings and misses with a shot to the body and Keinänen counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bryan! Keinänen controls the position from side control. Keinänen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Keinänen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jamison's half guard. Jobber looking for a submission but Jamison manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

Fernando Emerlong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A decent looking cross lands there for Emerlong. Zen gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jokinen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sonni to the mat! Sonni manages to get full guard. Jokinen stands and throws Sonni's legs to the side, diving into side control. Sonni is not content to let Jokinen control the position. Jokinen advances to mount. Jokinen avoids the attempt from Sonni to control. Jokinen fails to move to back control. Jokinen looking to control but Sonni is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jokinen jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Sonni manages to avoid the submission attempt. Jokinen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jokinen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sonni struggling a bit here. Sonni prevents Jokinen from moving into mount.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jokinen bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Sonni will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Taneli Hauki seems to be getting the better of the standup. Hauki catches Kukkonen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kukkonen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
BOOM! Hauki lands a beautiful left hook that drops Kukkonen. Kukkonen tries to recover but Hauki is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Kukkonen lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
