Garena throws a big shot that misses.
Wayward is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Garena.
Garena shoots in looking for a takedown. Wayward tries to sprawl out of it but Garena keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wayward manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Garena is trying to drag Wayward to the mat but Wayward just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lutan Garena. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wayward drops down looking for an ankle pick but Garena pulls his leg out and moves away.
Wayward changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Garena tries to avoid it but Wayward manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Garena to the ground. Garena escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Garena shoots in for a takedown but Wayward shows good takedown defense.
Wayward tries to score a power double leg takedown but Garena sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wayward somewhat.
Lutan Garena seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Wayward controls Garena momentarily but Garena frees himself.
