Reams throws a leg kick but simpson checks it. simpson keeps the fight on the outside. simpson tries for a takedown but Reams sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Reams throws the kick towards the body but simpson avoids it.
Reams closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. simpson did well to prevent Reams getting side control. simpson is trying to stand up here but Reams is controlling him well. simpson wants to control but Reams is keeping busy.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nick Vasa. Well Angle has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Hoodoo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Hoodoo is chipping away with strikes.

Hoodoo decides to stand back up. Tavarin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hoodoo looks for the body kick but Tavarin saw that one coming.
Hoodoo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tavarin napping and manages to drive through into side control! Hoodoo in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Hoodoo decides to take the fight back to the feet. Tavarin tries for a takedown but Hoodoo circles away easily and Hoodoo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Some wild striking there from Hoodoo.

He's simply no match for Samuray on the ground. Ironcrotch trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ironcrotch slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ironcrotch trying to control the position from guard on top but Samuray is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ironcrotch wants to pass the guard but Samuray is keeping the position. Hawk backs away looking to recover. Hawk drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. James walks into a stiff left hand from Hawk. Hawk avoids a lazy jab quite easily. James dodges the punch combination from Hawk.
James throws a hook but Hawk blocks it. A big right from James misses. James keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hawk. Hawk moves away from the strike by James. James misses with a looping right. Hawk displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as James throws out the jab. A jab from James misses. Hawk uses good head movement to avoid the hook from James.
Hawk closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hawk is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

James thows a left - swing and a miss! Hawk throws out a loose jab but James uses good head movement to avoid it. James throws a jab but it's blocked by Hawk. Hawk throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hawk moves into the clinch. James trying to control the position but instead, Hawk has worked for underhooks and has pushed James into the cage. Hawk is trying to break the clinch but James has him pressed against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kristobel James will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
James throws a leg kick but Hawk sees it coming and checks it nicely. Hawk thuds his right hand into James's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Hawk misses with a combination
and James counters with a one-two to the body. Hawk misses with a straight right. Hawk throws a sloppy body shot
enabling James to counter with a crisp jab.
Hawk closes the distance and clinches. A quick uppercut on the inside from Hawk. James is trying to break the clinch but Hawk has him pressed against the cage.

A big left from James misses. A big right from James misses. Hawk misses with a double jab.
Oooh a lovely combination from Hawk sends James down but not out. Hawk dives into side control looking to finish. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hawk controls the position. James is not content to let Hawk control the position. Hawk lands a few punches from side control.

A jab from James finds it's way through Hawk's defenses. James thows a body shot but no joy. James dodges the punch combination from Hawk.
Hawk pushes James up against the cage in a clinch. Hawk wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Hawk keeps control of James as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Hawk tries to score a body lock takedown but James shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Hawk goes for a takedown in the clinch but James prevents it.
Hawk tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. James wants to break the clinch but can't.

Hawk will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning James up against the cage. Hawk stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! James has Hawk pressed against the cage, preventing Hawk from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Hawk can't get the takedown.
Kristobel James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lincoln Hawk.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kristobel James will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
James fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hawk is out of range. James lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. James connects with a body shot. Hawk steps to the side to avoid the strikes from James. James walks into a left hand. Hawk slips under a jab from James. Hawk lands with a hook. James tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. No luck for Hawk with that takedown attempt. James tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. James cracks Hawk with a right hand to the side of the head. Hawk moves out of range as James strikes. A left lands for Hawk. Nice uppercut there from James. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! James has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hawk finds it's way round the side to connect with James's head. Kristobel James is winning the standup battle so far.
Hawk closes the distance and pushes James back into the cage. Stalling in the clinch from James.
