The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Warren fails with the takedown. Gunz tries to land a front kick but Warren steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Gunz lands a slapping body shot.
Gunz tries to clinch but Warren moves out of range. Gunz closes the distance but Warren moves to the side and Warren moves into the clinch. Gunz tries to break free but Warren pushes him back against the cage. Gunz is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Warren pulls him back up using the underhooks. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gunz in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Gunz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gunz wants to control from the top but Warren keeps moving. He's pushed Gunz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Warren shoots in but no luck this time. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Warren looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Rockwell defending against the ground and pound. Qfc in side control, throwing shots but Rockwell defends. Qfc really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rockwell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rockwell is trying to get back to half guard. Rockwell is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rockwell is not content to let Qfc control the position. Rockwell is trying to improve his position. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steve shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jackson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Steve, pushing him back against the cage. Jackson dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Jackson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Steve's efforts to push away. Jackson manages to pull guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Jackson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Steve postures up in Jackson's guard and throws a big left but Jackson blocks it. Jackson pulls Steve in close to his closed guard and prevents Steve from doing any damage or advancing position. Steve tries to stand but Jackson is controlling from the bottom.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Draak Drakovic! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drakovic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shumaker tries to avoid it but Drakovic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shumaker to the ground. Shumaker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Shumaker shoots in but no luck this time. Drakovic tries a head kick but it misses.
Shumaker looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Shumaker engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Drakovic not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Shumaker is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Drakovic keeping moving, preventing Shumaker from controlling successfully.

Big trouble for Shumaker! Drakovic lands a nice shot to the head. Shumaker is in all sorts of trouble here.

After the fight, John Jones was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
