Lagoc comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Lagoc misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Lagoc dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lagoc goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Lagoc misses with the combination.

That hurt Godino! Lagoc continues to tee off on Godino, landing with a left and a right! Lagoc connects with a right hand that leaves Godino sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Lagoc!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz misses with a takedown attempt - Hak sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Cruz with a lazy takedown attempt and Hak counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hak. Hak misses with a hook to the ribs.

Cruz prevents a body shot from Hak. Cruz tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hak just stands there and leans against the cage. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hak doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Testa throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Testa moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Testa shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Testa showed some decent athleticism there. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Hamhead looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Hamhead actively working from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Testa gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Testa working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hamhead has his feet on Testa's thighs here. He's pushed Testa off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Testa screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abshir closes the distance and clinches up with Cowen, looking for a takedown. Abshir pushes Cowen against the cage but Cowen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A jab from Abshir misses. Cowen scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Abshir tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cowen was well out of range. Poor timing from Abshir. Abshir keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cowen. A head kick misses from Cowen. Cowen throws a looping overhand right but Abshir ducks down to avoid it. Abshir looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cowen is fending him off so far but Abshir persists. Nope, Cowen circles away and we're back to standing. Cowen throws a hook but Abshir avoids it easily. Cowen connects with an inside leg kick. Abshir looks to throw the jab but Cowen is out of range. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cowen, right into the meat.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cowen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Cowen lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cowen with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Yunus Abshir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cowen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Abshir has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

letting Cowen counter with a right hand. Abshir tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Cowen feints and then cracks Abshir's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Abshir down. Abshir misses the shot to the body. Cowen leaves Abshir with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Cowen slaps away a takedown attempt from Abshir, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yunus Abshir. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cowen fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Abshir is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Cowen scores with a sloppy right hand. Abshir should have avoided that one. Cowen scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Abshir throws a lazy right hand but Cowen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Abshir tries to clinch up but Cowen circles away and keeps his distance. Abshir ducks right into an uppercut from Cowen.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Abshir might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Abshir misses with an uppercut. Cowen tests Abshir's chin there with a solid looking shot. Cowen scoring well with a low kick there.
Cowen lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Cowen throws a jab when Abshir was well out of range. Abshir punishes Cowen's body with a nice straight punch. Abshir misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cowen.
Abshir walks into a straight right hand from Cowen. A nice inside leg kick there by Cowen. That's going to slow Abshir down. Cowen drops Abshir with a beautiful combination! Abshir stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Cowen is looking for the KO!

It looks like Yunus Abshir has been cut. Cowen lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Abshir crumples to the floor! Cowen milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good exchange - Pearson coming out on top. Pearson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hoop throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Pearson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Hoop swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Pearson scores with a jab to the jaw.
