The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sagdiyev shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Starstryder manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Sagdiyev controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Sagdiyev prevents Starstryder from getting back to his feet. Sagdiyev landing with the ground and pound. Starstryder can't keep his opponent in guard - Sagdiyev advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Sagdiyev trying to control the action but Starstryder is working from the bottom. Starstryder tries to get to full guard but Sagdiyev has control of the leg. Sagdiyev throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's one minute gone in the round. Starstryder is staying active underneath Sagdiyev, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Sagdiyev prevents Starstryder from standing back up.

He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Starstryder's half guard. Sagdiyev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Starstryder. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sagdiyev wants to work for an arm triangle but Starstryder is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Starstryder is looking for a sweep. Sagdiyev is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Starstryder is looking to control Sagdiyev's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Starstryder avoid being mounted? Sagdiyev stalling. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Starstryder has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sagdiyev is working away from the top position though.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blackmore pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Blackmore cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Slouth Thor has been cut. Blackmore cracks Thor with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Thor tries to clinch but Blackmore is having none of it. Blackmore throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Thor. Blackmore scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Blackmore misses with a body shot.
Blackmore moves out of range as Thor strikes. Thor gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Blackmore counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Thor keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

That has opened up Slouth Thor's cut even more. Thor pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Thor is trying desperately to land a takedown but Blackmore is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Thor. Blackmore circles away from the clinch attempt and Blackmore counters with a crisp one two that drops Thor! Blackmore thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Thor to his feet! Thor is in big trouble!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cunnings shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Cunnings decides to stand up. Cunnings looks to land a left hand but Gonzalez moved out of range nicely. Cunnings dives in and scores a takedown into Gonzalez's guard. Cunnings is looking to stand up but Gonzalez won't let him. Cunnings gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Gonzalez throws a push kick but Cunnings slaps the foot to one side. Cunnings misses with a double jab.
Cunnings throws a sloppy head kick and Gonzalez moves out of range easily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gonzalez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Gonzalez misses with a takedown and Cunnings counters with a good low kick that Gonzalez was not able to check. Cunnings cracks Gonzalez with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Cunnings is looking for a kimura but Gonzalez is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cunnings to get the leverage. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Cunnings wants to free his trapped foot but Gonzalez is holding on for dear life with his legs. Cunnings seems to be looking for submissions.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice combination there by Jones.
A combination from Deans does no damage. Silco Deans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Deans swats him away and circles back towards the center. Deans stuns Jones with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. A punch combination from Deans misses. Deans misses with a double jab.
Deans throws a big shot that misses. Deans tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Deans. Deans works Jones's body with a nice hook. Jones looks winded! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones with a lazy takedown attempt letting Deans counter with a right hand. Deans lands a really nice looking cross but Jones seems unphased.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone throws a jab but it's blocked by Fertus. Stone chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fertus can pounce on him.
Fertus keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Stone tries to land a leg kick but Fertus saw it coming and moves away.
Stone falls off balance throwing a combination
and Fertus makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Fertus wants to slow Stone down by chopping away at his legs. Stone connects with a crisp jab. A leg kick checked by Stone. Stone attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fertus paws at him with a jab and circles away. Stone lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stone shoots in but Fertus avoids the takedown attempt easily. Stone misses with a lunging right hand
and Fertus counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Stone throws a sloppy body shot
and Fertus counters with a one-two to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Stone fails with the takedown. Mike Fertus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aaron Stone. Fertus avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Stone does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Stone fails with an attempt to clinch.
Stone misses with a takedown attempt and Fertus counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Fertus. Fertus blocks an elbow strike from Stone.

and Fertus counters with a nice uppercut. Stone swings and misses with a shot to the body and Fertus counters with a solid body kick. Stone looks winded! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Stone!

Stone shoots in looking for a takedown but Fertus manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stone's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Stone tries to bum rush Fertus with a series of wild strikes but Fertus uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Stone pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Fertus turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stone misses with a series of wild punches.
Fertus throws a chopping leg kick but Stone manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Fertus uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stone. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mike Fertus will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Fertus is trying to force a seperation but Stone has the dominant position. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Fertus softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Fertus content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Fertus lands a nice shot to the body. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Fertus as Stone tries to tie him up. Fertus lands a left hand that snaps the head of Stone backwards. Come on Stone - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Fertus lands with a short head shot on the inside. A short right hand to the side of the head by Fertus. Stone throws a head punch that misses. The referee is keeping an eye on Fertus - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Fertus tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Stone avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fertus lands with a left to the head. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Stone is trying to drag Fertus to the mat but Fertus just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Stalling in the clinch from Fertus.
Fertus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Fertus keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Mike Fertus is winning the standup battle so far. Fertus keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Still in the clinch, Fertus scores with a nice short uppercut. Fertus avoiding damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fertus looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Stone's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Fertus lands a hook that snaps the head of Stone backwards. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. A short right hand to the side of the head by Fertus. Mike Fertus has scored more points in the clinch so far. Fertus pressing his opponent against the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Fertus. This has been an exciting period of action! With the fighters clinched against the cage, Fertus creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Fertus pressing his opponent against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fertus breaks the clinch.

He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Stone on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Stone missing with a left hand there. Fertus was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Stone misses with an uppercut
and Fertus counters with a nice body kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stone misses with a lunging right hand

Fertus pushes Stone up against the cage in a clinch. Stone stalling in the clinch but Fertus improves position. Stone takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fertus pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fertus swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Stone throws a body punch but Fertus moves out of range. Stone misses with a body kick. Fertus lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Aaron Stone has been cut. Fertus chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Fertus uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Stone. Fertus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stone. Fertus closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Fertus manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fertus dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stone. That did some damage! Stone tries to land a front kick but Fertus steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Fertus forces Stone back against the cage and clinches. Fertus stalling the fight.

Mike Fertus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stone misses with a left hand and Fertus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Stone is rocked! Fertus thumps Stone with a low kick. Stone is still on wobbly legs! Can Fertus finish him? Fertus throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Fertus closes the distance and clinches. Stone is trying desperately to land a takedown but Fertus is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Stone. Fertus manages to break the clinch.
Stone has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fertus. Fertus lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Stone out cold! Stone is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Boa shoots in for a takedown but Fresh shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Vlad Fresh is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Boa looking for a takedown here - he's got it. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Boa trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boa is looking to work some ground and pound but Fresh has wrist control. Fresh manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Cheshire might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Joe haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

and Cheshire counters with a stiff right hand. Cheshire defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Joe. Cheshire ducks under a wild hook from Joe. Joe throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Cheshire tries to clinch there but Joe circles away.
Cheshire staying out of range there. Joe lands a really nice looking cross but Cheshire seems unphased.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Joe fails in his attempt to clinch. Joe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cheshire swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cheshire shoots in looking for a takedown but Joe manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cheshire's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Cheshire tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Joe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Cheshire bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Joe tries to close the distance and clinch but Cheshire swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Joe has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cheshire finds it's way round the side to connect with Joe's head.
It looks like Ugly Kid Joe has been cut. Joe checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Joe throws a lazy right hand but Cheshire sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Cheshire swats away the attempt to clinch by Joe. Joe tries to work over Cheshire's front leg with a kick but Cheshire checks it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Cheshire looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Cheshire scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Cheshire with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Joe is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Joe is not content to let Cheshire control the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Cheshire thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Joe's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. A nice combination there by Joe.

Joe throws a hook but Cheshire avoids it easily. Cheshire closes the distance and clinches. A short right from Cheshire. Joe tries to circle away but Cheshire has him pinned against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Joe blocks the elbow strike.

Cheshire shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Joe throws a series of punches but Cheshire moves out of range. Cheshire steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Joe. Joe wants to clinch. Joe lands the left hand.

Joe lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Joe takes a shot to the head. Joe avoids a wild elbow strike from Cheshire. Joe lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Joe is rocked! Joe is trapped in a tight thai clinch here. Cheshire pulls him left and then right before unleashing a vicious knee to the head. Oh damn - Joe is out cold! That's some serious business! What a knockout!
