The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donk. Davis catches Suulas right on the button with a cross. Suulas gets a double leg takedown into Davis's guard. Suulas working some strikes from top position. Suulas postures up in Davis's guard and throws a big left but Davis blocks it. Suulas postures up in Davis's guard and throws a big left but Davis blocks it. Davis is controlling Suulas's posture. Davis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Davis wants to sweep here but Suulas controlling him for the moment. Davis looking to control.

Davis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davis scoring with punches from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Suulas can't do much from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Suulas taking a bit of punishment here - Davis scoring with strikes. Suulas takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Suulas wants to control but Davis postures up. Davis misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Suulas tries to bench press Davis off him but Davis keeps the position. Davis trying to control the action but Suulas is working from the bottom. Suulas takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Suulas is trying to get back to half guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Davis throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suulas is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Davis in side control lands a decent elbow. Suulas is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Suulas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Davis is looking to advance position but Suulas won't allow it. Davis takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Suulas is concentrating on defense, preventing Davis from advancing position. Suulas is looking to improve his position.

Davis postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Suulas is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Davis, into his guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Suulas stopping the sweep attempt from Davis. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Suulas tries to avoid it but Davis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Suulas to the ground. Suulas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nice sprawl there from Suulas as Davis shoots in. Suulas stuffs the takedown attempt from Davis. Davis gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Davis showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Suulas.
Davis cracks Suulas with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Suulas checks a low kick from Davis. Davis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Suulas's guard.

Davis working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Davis tries to free his leg and advance position but Suulas is retaining full guard. Suulas controls Davis momentarily but Davis frees himself. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Davis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Davis wants to control from the top but Suulas keeps moving. Suulas bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Davis's guard. Davis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Suulas manages to get himself to full guard.
Suulas has momentary wrist control but Davis slips an elbow through the middle. Davis working some strikes from top position. Joe Davis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Davis wants to control from the top but Suulas keeps moving. Suulas not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tarmo Suulas hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Suulas tries to clinch but Davis moves out of range.

Davis is fighting to break Suulas's control of his arms but Suulas is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Suulas is on top in guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Suulas defending well as Davis loads up on a big left hand. Suulas is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Davis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Suulas sees it coming and avoids it easily. Suulas wants to clinch but Davis slips to the side and Davis counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Davis throws a strike but Suulas rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Davis keeping moving, preventing Suulas from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davis tries to land a sweep but no joy. Davis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Suulas manages to get himself to full guard.
Suulas looking to hit a scissor sweep but Davis is one step ahead there. Suulas is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Suulas with the ground and pound but Davis uses the opportunity to regain guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Davis looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Suulas passes into half guard.

Lewis closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Stroud's guard. Lewis won't allow Stroud to sweep him here. Lewis passes easily into side control. Nice work. Lewis swings around for an armbar but Stroud sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lewis's guard. That was a close round but I would say that Ryan Rooney will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Timmons ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Timmons misses with a two punch combination.
Worsely tries a low kick but Timmons avoids it. Timmons takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Timmons tries to land a body kick and Worsely counters with a slapping leg kick. Worsely connects with a body shot that sends Timmons's belly button to the back. A swing and a miss from Timmons. Worsely connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Worsely loads up on a big right hand but Timmons slips the punch. Timmons tries to move into range but Worsely moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Timmons lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Worsely circles away quickly and effectively. Worsely lands an overhand right. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Timmons looks to throw the jab but Worsely is out of range. Timmons moves out of range of the leg kick from Worsely. Worsely dives in and scores a takedown into Timmons's guard.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Timmons's guard. Worsely wants to lay and pray for a moment but Timmons keeps working. Timmons is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Worsely's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Worsely's back! Worsely just trying to survive but Timmons is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Floor Jan looks to land a left hand but Impaler moved out of range nicely. Impaler throws a jab when Floor Jan was well out of range. Impaler uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Floor Jan. Floor Jan throws a big shot that misses. Floor Jan misses with a jab, cross combination.

Impaler is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Floor Jan - that's hurt Impaler badly! Oh, another knee lands and Impaler is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Impaler doesn't seem to be complaining.

It looks like Chris Kendall has been cut. Kendall fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Yo. Chris Kendall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yo moves out of range of the body kick. Kendall lands a nice looking body shot.
A jab from Yo does it's job there. Kendall takes a swing at Yo's ribcage but misses. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kendall. Yo lands a right hook to the body.
