Undercard bout

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Jenkens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Anderson Silva was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jenkens circles away quickly and effectively.
Silva tries to clinch but Jenkens moves out of range.
Jenkens ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Silva walks into a left hand.
Silva misses with a combination
and Jenkens counters with a two punch combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Jenkens counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Anderson Silva has been cut.
Silva looks winded!
Jenkens throws a one two combo.
Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Jenkens which made him look bad.
Tom Jenkens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anderson Silva.
Jenkens keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Jenkens lands a big right hand that sends Silva crashing to the mat! Jenkens stays standing though and waves Silva back to his feet!

Silva walks into a straight right hand from Jenkens.
Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Jenkens finish him?
Tom Jenkens is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jenkens goes for a small jab and connects. Now Jenkens goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Silva stumbles back but Jenkens runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Silva to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Silva will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Lee misses with a low kick as Alcaraz jumps back.

Alcaraz scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Alcaraz connects with a nice short shot to Lee's temple.
Lee wants to get back to his feet.
Alcaraz landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Alcaraz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee looks like he's trying to stand up.
Alcaraz winds up and cracks Lee with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Alcaraz slips a nice elbow through Lee's hands, connecting with Lee's forehead.
Lee is trying to stand back up but Alcaraz is controlling him
Alcaraz looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Lee is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Alcaraz scores with a couple of nice shots.
Lee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alcaraz on the ground.
Alcaraz controlling the position here and throwing strikes from the top. Nice elbow lands there... and another... and another... oh, Lee is out! Alcaraz gets to his feet and admires his work - nice finish!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Berto counters with a good low kick that Benson was not able to check.

Frazier postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Kill in real trouble here! The ref calls for Kill to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
