The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well Ross has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Matthews forces Daimon back against the cage and clinches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Matthews cracks Daimon with an uppercut from hell and Daimon crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Matthews's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Daimon is rocked!

That has opened up Michael Daimon's cut even more.

Matthews gets to his feet. Daimon looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Daimon is still on wobbly legs! Can Matthews finish him?
Matthews ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Daimon out cold! The fight is over!
