0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mirko Filipovic! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fortier throws a head kick that misses. Filipovic fails to land with a series of punches.
Filipovic looks to land a right hand but Fortier moved out of range. Filipovic throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Fortier closes the distance and clinches. Fortier has Filipovic pushed against the cage. Filipovic is fighting off a takedown attempt but Fortier is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Filipovic to the mat. Filipovic regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Fortier showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Fortier seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Filipovic for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fortier gets to his feet. Filipovic looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Filipovic moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Filipovic misses with a two punch combination.

Fortier gets the takedown into side control. Filipovic is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The referee asks Fortier politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Fortier prefers to stall for the moment though. Fortier working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fortier decides to take the fight back to the feet. Filipovic cracks Fortier with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Filipovic throws a wild body kick that Fortier sees coming a mile off. Fortier decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Fortier controlling the action here. Filipovic keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Filipovic is looking for a sweep. Fortier is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Fortier perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Eric Fortier. Filipovic misses with the combination.
Filipovic tries to keep at a distance but Fortier has taken the fight into the clinch. Filipovic wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Fortier pulls guard. Fortier is pulling down on Filipovic's head. It's preventing any offense from Filipovic, at least for the moment. Fortier pushes a forearm under Filipovic's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Filipovic is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Almighty avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Almighty shoots in and bounces Staehlin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Almighty trying to control but Staehlin is working from the bottom. Almighty is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Staehlin throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Staehlin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Staehlin is working hard here to advance position. Staehlin wants to stand but Almighty is controlling the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bruce Almighty was stalling too much, according to the referee. Almighty shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Staehlin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Almighty's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Staehlin is looking to stand up but Almighty won't let him. Almighty looking to hit a scissor sweep but Staehlin is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Staehlin is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Almighty wants to stand and escape but Staehlin is having none of it. Almighty has control of Staehlin's left arm, preventing Staehlin from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Staehlin trying to control the position from guard on top but Almighty is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Almighty pulls Staehlin in close to prevent any damage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Almighty doesn't succeed with the takedown and Staehlin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Almighty looks winded! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Staehlin with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Staehlin trying to control but Almighty is working from the bottom. Staehlin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Almighty swivels though and keeps the full guard. Staehlin trying to control the position from guard on top but Almighty is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Staehlin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Chris Staehlin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Almighty. Staehlin is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Staehlin tries to control but Almighty wriggling away. Staehlin with shots to the head and body - Almighty looks very uncomfortable down there. Staehlin with a couple of short strikes. Staehlin is working for a guillotine from mount but Almighty frees his head quite easily.
Staehlin has hold of Almighty's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Almighty manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Staehlin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Almighty swats away the attempt to clinch by Staehlin. Almighty closes this distance looking for a takedown but Staehlin circles away. Chris Staehlin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Staehlin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Staehlin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Almighty knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Almighty struggling a bit here. Almighty takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Almighty prevents Staehlin from improving position. Almighty takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Almighty tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Staehlin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Staehlin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Almighty is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Almighty is not content to let Staehlin control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Staehlin scores with a couple of short elbows. Staehlin landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Staehlin trying to control the position but Almighty is working away. Staehlin goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Almighty has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Staehlin but great work by Almighty. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Almighty wants to stand but Staehlin is controlling his arm.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Staehlin tries to get back to half guard but can't. Staehlin struggling a bit here. Staehlin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Staehlin tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Almighty sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Staehlin regains half guard. It looks like Almighty is going to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Staehlin is looking to control Almighty's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Staehlin avoid being mounted? Staehlin moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Staehlin controls Almighty momentarily but Almighty frees himself. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Staehlin working a defensive guard but Almighty passes into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Staehlin showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Staehlin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A decent looking body kick lands there for Plant. The Robber is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. The Robber connects with the punch. Plant fails with a takedown attempt. The Robber swinging wildly here.
The Robber throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Plant counters with a one-two to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The Robber lands the left hand. The Robber throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Plant looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Plant fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Plant. A jab from The Robber does it's job there. The Robber looks to score with a jab to the body but Plant is just out of range. The Robber is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. The Robber misses with the combination.

Plant tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but The Robber paws at him with a jab and circles away. Plant gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The Robber stuns Plant with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Plant pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The Robber swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Plant. Plant looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. The Robber lands a jab to the head.

Bob The Robber showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Plant. The Robber scores with a one two! Plant had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. The Robber cracks Plant with a good jab. The Robber thuds his right hand into Plant's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Plant moves out of range of the strikes. Nice sprawl there from The Robber as Plant shoots in. The Robber lands a head shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Plant shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with The Robber but The Robber pushes him off and we're back to square one. Plant throws a body kick that misses. Plant scores with a head kick. The Robber tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. The Robber lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. The Robber connects with a body shot that sends Plant's belly button to the back. Plant avoids a punch combination nicely.
Plant tries to close the distance and clinch but The Robber swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The Robber tries to bum rush Plant with a series of wild strikes but Plant uses good footwork to avoid the assault. The Robber swings for the body but Plant moves out of range.
The Robber will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Nice sprawl there from The Robber as Plant shoots in. The Robber scores with a nice head shot. The Robber throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Plant stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Plant throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The Robber scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. The Robber works Plant's body with a nice hook. No joy there for The Robber, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Crunch! Plant slams his shin into The Robber's torso. The Robber ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Plant moves away. Plant wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The Robber works over Plant's head and body with a nice combination. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Plant is defended easily by The Robber. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The Robber with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Trojan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Trojan thuds a left hand into Panaro's body. Trojan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Panaro looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee throws a series of punches but Carver avoids them all with ease. Nice uppercut lands for Lee. That snapped Carver's head back.
Lee catches Carver with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Carver lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lee circles away quickly and effectively. A left lands for Lee. Lee moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Carver shoots in looking for a takedown but Lee manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Carver's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Lee scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Lee lands a really nice looking cross but Carver seems unphased.
Carver with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lee to score with a decent uppercut. A punch combination from Lee misses. Some wild striking there from Lee.

Carver closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Carver lands in his opponent's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Carver makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Carver with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Carver in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Carver works over Lee with some ground and pound from guard. Carver works over Lee with some ground and pound from guard. Carver stands up over Lee, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Carver sitting in guard here, content to control. Carver landing with the ground and pound. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Lee has momentary wrist control but Carver slips an elbow through the middle. Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carver. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Carver keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Carver and the ref steps in to end the fight! Carver can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Qqqqqq with a lazy takedown attempt and Ebanii counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Ebanii connects with a right that clearly hurt Qqqqqq. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Ebanii proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Qqqqqq collapses and taps out under the pressure!
