Johnson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Prieto can pounce on him.
Prieto leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Monkey lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clay throws a hook but Clark blocks it.

Horrible takedown by Clay or perhaps it was just good defense by Clark which made him look bad.
Clay with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Clark to score with a decent uppercut.
Clark connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Clark uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Clay.
Nice takedown defense from Clark. No joy for Clay on that attempt.

Clark drops Clay with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Clay looks back up at him and smiles so Clark waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Clay is rocked!

It looks like Tyson Clay has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Clay shoots in and drives through. Clark sprawls well.
Clay is still on wobbly legs! Can Clark finish him?
Andrew Clark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Clay.
Whack! Clark lands a heavy head kick that drops Clay. The ref tackles Clark to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Clay was done.
