0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Martin Van Buren! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ju looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Van Buren! Van Buren gets back to half guard. Ju is figuring out what he wants to do next. Van Buren looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Ju seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Van Buren looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Ground and pound from Ju.

Ju closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Van Buren to the mat! Van Buren manages to get full guard. Ju controls from within his opponent's guard. Ju slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. This has been an exciting period of action! Van Buren tries to buck Ju off but Ju is having none of it. Ju working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Van Buren is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Van Buren manages to work his way to half guard, despite Ju's best efforts. Ju slows the pace down in half guard. Ju decides to stand and escape the position. Joey Ju seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Excellent takedown into side control there by Ju. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ju stands up and we're back to a striking position. Ju closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Van Buren did well to prevent Ju getting side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Van Buren moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Van Buren escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ju gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Van Buren is looking for a triangle but Ju pushes his legs off easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ju stands up and beckons Van Buren to join him on the feet. No luck for Van Buren with that takedown attempt. Van Buren gets tackled into the cage by Ju. Ju maintains the clinch.

Ju shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ju showed some decent athleticism there. Ju with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Van Buren with the active half guard here but Ju passes nicely into side control. Van Buren managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Ju.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ju is staying tight to Van Buren's torso, preventing him from escaping. Ju decides to stand back up. Ju steps back and let's Van Buren get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ju thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Martin Van Buren has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurosaki is looking to clinch but Mishima is avoiding it.
Kurosaki throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Mishima counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kurosaki's guard now. Mishima is stalling in the full guard. Mishima thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mishima wants to control from the top but Kurosaki keeps moving. Mishima postures up in Kurosaki's guard and throws a big left but Kurosaki blocks it. Mishima controls from within his opponent's guard. Mishima postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mishima working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kurosaki's head. Mishima has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mishima is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Kurosaki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mishima. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mishima has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Mishima pushing down on Kurosaki's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Mishima seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Jin Mishima has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Mishima lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurosaki tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kurosaki looks winded! Mishima circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Kurosaki drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Mishima follows Kurosaki to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jin Mishima! After the big win, Jin Mishima made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Tokyo United Fightwear and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.

And that's the end of the fight! Tadanari Nozawa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nozawa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. That's two minutes gone in the round. Francisco fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hitoshi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Hitoshi is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Francisco rather than just go for the knockout. Francisco lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Daiki Hitoshi has been cut. Francisco avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Francisco tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hitoshi was well out of range. Poor timing from Francisco. Francisco throws a quick inside leg kick. Francisco swings and misses with a shot to the body and Hitoshi counters with a lovely shot to the body. Francisco throws a combination. Hitoshi tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Francisco throws a sloppy head kick and Hitoshi moves out of range easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Francisco tries to buck Hitoshi off but Hitoshi is having none of it. Hitoshi has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Francisco! Hitoshi lands a heavy elbow.
It looks like Felippe Francisco has been cut. Hitoshi raining down hammerfists from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daiki Hitoshi dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hitoshi looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hitoshi connects with a couple of short punches. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hitoshi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hitoshi is working Francisco over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hitoshi chips away with some ground and pound. Hitoshi keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Francisco's head.
Francisco is rocked! Hitoshi lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Oh Francisco is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hitoshi loads up on a big left hand. Francisco felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Hitoshi looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Francisco can't hide his disappointment, as Hitoshi celebrates the victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benoit closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Out to the mat! Out manages to get full guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Out is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Benoit defends well. Out has his foot on Benoit's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Benoit works his way back into a safe position though. Benoit forces his way into half guard. Benoit lands strikes from half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Benoit lands a nice short elbow. This has been an exciting period of action!
