The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerenzikov throws a hook but Mitzucuik avoids it easily.
Kerenzikov looks to score with a jab to the body but Mitzucuik is just out of range.
Kerenzikov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mitzucuik tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kerenzikov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mitzucuik somewhat.

Kerenzikov feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mitzucuik sprawling to the canvas! Mitzucuik rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kerenzikov finish him?!

Mitzucuik is rocked!

It looks like Kanu Mitzucuik has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mitzucuik throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kerenzikov turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kerenzikov lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Mitzucuik up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Kerenzikov from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Mitzucuik's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Stevens motions for Materson to come forward. Stevens throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Stevens throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Materson's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Stevens dives in looking to finish as Materson flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Stevens's strikes! Stevens is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Materson's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Materson was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Sausage waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Victorious . Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Victorious to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

We're going to have a standup here because Sonny Sausage wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Victorious 's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sausage connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Victorious scrambles back to his feet.
Sausage is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Victorious can do to turn this around?
Victorious shoots in looking for a takedown but Sausage manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Victorious 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
