0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jamison Jaeger! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Christ closes the distance and clinches up with Jaeger, looking for a takedown. Christ pushes Jaeger against the cage but Jaeger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A nice combination there by Jaeger.
It looks like sa Christ has been cut. Christ shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Christ won't allow Jaeger to sweep him here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Christ has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jaeger is proving hard to escape from. Christ really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jaeger is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Christ trying to control but Jaeger is working from the bottom. Jaeger has Christ pulled in close to control his posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up. sa Christ wasn't doing enough on the ground. Christ tries to clinch but Jaeger is having none of it. Christ drives through and clinches with Jaeger against the cage.
Christ jumps guard but Jaeger stands there with Christ around his waist. Christ gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jaeger should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Christ has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jaeger avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for sa Christ. That's going to take a lot out of him. Christ tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jaeger just stands there and leans against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dixon is looking to stand up but Umato isn't so interested in that idea. Umato throws a big elbow that misses. Umato trying to control the position from guard on top but Dixon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Umato pushes down on Dixon's leg and manages to get into half guard. Umato lands with a kick to the temple. Dixon shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Dixon misses with a wild body shot. Umato takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

and Umato counters with a nice low kick that buckles Dixon's knee momentarily. Umato thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Dixon if he has to take too many more of those.
Umato connects with an inside leg kick. Umato tries to land a leg kick but Dixon saw it coming and moves away.
Dixon looks to score with a jab to the body but Umato is just out of range.

Dixon will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Umato takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Umato escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Umato has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. A good leg kick by Umato. Umato connects with a leg kick. Dixon looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Dixon is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dixon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Umato. Umato takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Umato lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Umato will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Mathew Dixon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Umato.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tran works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Souza tries to bum rush Tran with a series of wild strikes but Tran uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Souza scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Souza jabs Tran right on the nose. Tran blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Allexandar Tran has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Souza closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Tran out cold! Tran corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Krohn can do anything to dispel that myth. Krohn throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Hansson tries to stand but Krohn is controlling from the bottom. Krohn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hansson is one step ahead there. Hansson wants to stand and escape but instead Krohn has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krohn landing some decent shots from guard. Krohn lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hansson keeping moving, preventing Krohn from controlling successfully. Krohn chips away with some ground and pound. Krohn passes Hansson's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hansson is trying to stand.
Ground and pound from Krohn. This has been an exciting period of action! Krohn moves into full mount! Hansson won't be happy about that! Hansson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Krohn on the ground. Krohn lands a big shot there that rocks Hansson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Krohn fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Krohn cracks Hansson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Hansson is rocked! Krohn scoring with strikes but Hansson is staying in there. Oh Hansson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Krohn has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hansson's face.
Krohn loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Hansson scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Krohn land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Krohn stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jar Krohn! A less than humble Jar Krohn misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
