Fanco is working for an americana but Fish has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Fanco was thinking about the submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fanco in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Fanco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fish swivels though and keeps the full guard. Fish really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fanco. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fanco drops back looking for a leg! Fish is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fish manages to kick Fanco off! Fanco jumps back into Fish's guard. Fanco pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fish is keeping the position for now. Kyle Fanco has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fish pushes Fanco off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Fish looks to land a combination but Fanco avoids it well. Fish misses with a few strikes there.
Fish rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fanco moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Fanco dodges the punch combination from Fish.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Christofi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben Jackson! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson leaves Christofi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Christofi is defended easily by Jackson. Christofi instigates a clinch. Jackson tries to work over Christofi's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Jackson lands an elbow inside. Jackson lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Christofi. Christofi wants to get back to striking at distance but Jackson won't allow it.
Christofi blocks a body shot from Jackson. Jackson lands a nice uppercut. Jackson tries to throw a body punch but Christofi avoids it by throwing Jackson back against the cage. Christofi has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jackson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Jackson trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Christofi is hanging on to Jackson's back as he tries to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Christofi avoiding Jackson 's attempts to control his hands. Christofi struggling to land strikes to the head as Jackson covers up. Christofi is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Jackson. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Christofi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Christofi throwing wild punches that miss their target. Christofi punches Jackson on the ear. Christofi throwing wild punches that miss their target. Even with his hooks in, Christofi manages to miss with strikes from the back. Jackson turns into Christofi and is now in his guard.
Christofi wants to stand and escape but Jackson is having none of it. Christofi is trying to control the position but Jackson postures up. Jackson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Christofi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jackson connects with a couple of short punches. Christofi utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jackson throwing strikes but missing. Jackson showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Jackson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Christofi avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Jackson throws a big right hand that misses. Christofi utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Christofi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jackson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Christofi haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Christofi pulls Jackson in to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Christofi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. We've been told by Christofi's head coaches at LOD: Gym of the Gods that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Christofi tries for a takedown but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Christofi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Christofi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jackson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Christofi somewhat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Christofi wants to clinch. Christofi moves out of range of the strikes. Jackson throws a head kick but Christofi moves out of range.
Jackson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Christofi. Christofi shoots for a takedown but Jackson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jackson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Christofi is landing a low percentage of strikes. Christofi looks to clinch and Jackson counters with a nice uppercut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jackson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson connects with the punch. Jackson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Christofi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jackson as he avoids it easily. Christofi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jackson can pounce on him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Jackson dominated that round. That's time! Christofi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Christofi throws a sloppy body shot
and Jackson counters with a right hand to the body. Donk. Jackson catches Christofi right on the button with a cross. Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jackson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Nice takedown defense from Jackson. No joy for Christofi on that attempt. A decent looking cross lands there for Jackson. Christofi shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Christofi misses with a takedown attempt - Jackson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Christofi. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Christofi takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Chris Christofi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jackson tests Christofi's chin there with a solid looking shot. Christofi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away. Christofi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jackson circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jackson fakes the leg kick and cracks Christofi in the body. Jackson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Christofi. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackson connects with a single shot there. Christofi on the wrong end of a nice hook. Christofi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jackson lands a big uppercut and Christofi crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Christofi looks OK. Jackson waves Christofi back to his feet!
Christofi is rocked! Christofi circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Jackson. Christofi falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Jackson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ben Jackson! Ben Jackson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
