The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaeger ducks under a wild hook from Kuiper.

Jaeger takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Sloppy strikes from Kuiper. Those never looked like landing.
Jaeger fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Jaeger looks to land a right hand but Kuiper moved out of range.
Kuiper's jab looks to have found its range, popping Jaeger under the eye.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nice straight punches there by Kuiper. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kuiper.
Kuiper lands a big head kick that sends Jaeger to the canvas! Kuiper follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunez checks a low kick from Umato.
Umato keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ken Umato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nunez tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Umato cracks Nunez with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Nunez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nunez is defended easily by Umato.
Nunez throws a right hand that Umato ducks under and follows up with a left that Umato also avoids with ease.

Umato lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Salvo slips a jab from Souza.
Salvo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fight stays on the outside here - Salvo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Souza Throws a clean left jab. Souza Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Salvo's chin! Salvo crumbles to the ground and Souza follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Souza!
