The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Qfc shoots and misses and Jamesion counters by moving into the clinch. Qfc is looking to break free of the clinch but Jamesion has double underhooks. Stalling in the clinch from Jamesion.
Qfc tries to break free but Jamesion pushes him back against the cage. Qfc is working for takedown but Jamesion is calmly controlling the position for now. Qfc wants to get back to striking at distance but Jamesion won't allow it.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Jamesion works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Jamesion is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Jamesion won't allow Qfc to get back to his feet. Qfc looking to control but Jamesion passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jamesion slows the pace down in half guard. Qfc is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Mark Jamesion just wasn't active enough. Qfc tries to clinch up but Jamesion circles away and keeps his distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Qfc tries for a takedown but Jamesion circles away easily so Jamesion counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Mark Jamesion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Of Qfc. Jamesion's corner is telling him to maintain position. Qfc is working an open guard so Jamesion takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jamesion gets a takedown into half guard. Jamesion trying to control the pace. Jamesion landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Qfc tries to get to full guard but Jamesion has control of the leg.

Jamesion slips a nice elbow through Qfc's hands, connecting with Qfc's forehead. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Qfc can do anything to dispel that myth. Qfc wants to improve his position but Jamesion is controlling well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matrix misses with a combination
and Brona counters with a nice double leg into guard. Brona throwing strikes but missing. Matrix preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Brona wants to control from the top but Matrix keeps moving. Brona throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Matrix works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Brona lands a couple of elbows. Brona throws an elbow that misses. Matrix uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brona's guard. Nice move by Matrix! Matrix stopping the sweep attempt from Brona. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Matrix trying to stand up but can't free himself from Brona's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brona wants to sweep but no luck. Brona is pulling down on Matrix's head to control his posture. Matrix wanted to stand there but Brona had control of the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because DJ Brona just wasn't active enough. Matrix drops Brona with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Brona looks back up at him and smiles so Matrix waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The Matrix is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brona lands with an uppercut that bounces Matrix off the cage and back into range. Brona lands a nice looking body shot.
Matrix tries to bum rush Brona with a series of wild strikes but Brona uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Brona ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Matrix moves away. Brona thows a body shot but no joy. Matrix throws a nice looking combination but Brona bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Matrix misses with a series of wild punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brona gets a double leg takedown into Matrix's guard. Matrix keeping moving, preventing Brona from controlling successfully. Brona postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Brona won't allow Matrix to get back to his feet. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Brona working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Brona missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matrix wants to stand up but Brona is controlling him. Brona throws a big elbow that misses. Brona wants to control from the top but Matrix keeps moving. Brona throws a strike but Matrix rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Matrix wants to stand but Brona has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Brona wants to stand and escape but Matrix is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brona seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Brona tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We're going to have a standup here because DJ Brona wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Brona tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Matrix is able to avoid easily. Matrix cracks Brona with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Brona looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Matrix finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brona changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Matrix tries to avoid it but Brona manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Matrix to the ground. Matrix escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. The Matrix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Matrix misses with a few strikes there.

and Brona connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Brona slips a jab and a cross from Matrix.
Matrix on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Brona scores with a hook. Brona connects with a body shot that sends Matrix's belly button to the back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but The Matrix will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

DJ Brona dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Brona fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Matrix manages to avoid it. Matrix lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brona circles away quickly and effectively. DJ Brona is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Matrix misses with a series of wild punches.
A looping hook to the body misses from Brona. Matrix does a little dance to reset his feet. Matrix on the wrong end of a nice jab. Matrix keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Brona. No joy there for Matrix, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Matrix lands a left and a right that send Brona crashing to the mat, dazed. Matrix thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brona works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Brona tries to score with a low kick but Matrix moves his leg out of the way. Brona checks the leg kick nicely there.
Matrix throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brona. Brona shoots in and gets a takedown into Matrix's guard. Brona is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brona accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Brona trying to control the position from guard on top but Matrix is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brona with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Brona trying to control but Matrix is working from the bottom. Brona sitting in guard, not really doing much. Brona distracts Matrix with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Brona working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Brona postures up in Matrix's guard and throws a big left but Matrix blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brona throws a big right hand that misses. Brona looking to sit in guard and control but Matrix gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Matrix passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Matrix tries to stand and escape but Brona actually recovers to full guard. Brona striking off his back but it's not causing Matrix any problems. Matrix has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Brona is proving hard to escape from. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brona pulls Matrix in close to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brona's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Matrix wanted to stand there but Brona had control of the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Matrix misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Brona ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Matrix moves away. Matrix fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Brona has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Matrix on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

It looks like The Matrix has been cut. Matrix will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Matrix takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Brona scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Brona shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Matrix eats them both and turns towards Brona to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Matrix misses with a double jab
and Brona counters with a takedown into side control. Brona creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Matrix dodges the ground and pound from Brona. Brona in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Brona throws an elbow but Matrix slips to the side and avoids it well. Sloppy strikes there by Brona. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Brona lands an elbow. Brona is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Matrix knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Grygiel wants to clinch but Sutherland slips to the side letting Sutherland counter with a right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Grygiel tries to clinch and Sutherland makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Grygiel takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sutherland scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Grygiel doesn't seem bothered though. Grygiel looks winded! Sutherland looking to score a takedown here. Grygiel is defending well but Sutherland drives through and ends up in Grygiel's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Grygiel swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Grygiel is squirming around, avoiding Sutherland's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sutherland not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
