Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andy Dwyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gomer Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dwyer comes to the cage accompanied by Dave Matthews Band - You Might Die Trying. Jacobs has chosen Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. Jacobs bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Andy Dwyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jacobs shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dwyer pinned against the cage. Dwyer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Jacobs feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
