11 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Gordon Freeman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 43 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Hall! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall misses with a two punch combination.
Freeman checks a low kick from Hall. A shot to the liver by Hall. Beautiful body shot. Hall works Freeman's body with a nice hook. Freeman lands with a nice combination. Hall backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Jesse Hall has been cut. Hall tries to bum rush Freeman with a series of wild strikes but Freeman uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hall lands a body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hall fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Freeman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. A right-left combo lands from Hall.
It looks like Gordon Freeman has been cut. Jesse Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hall cracks Freeman with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Hall getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Hall throws a jab but it's blocked by Freeman. Freeman takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall drops Freeman with a right and a left! Hall comes rushing in but Freeman regains his composure and manages to keep Hall in guard.
Freeman is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hall won't allow Freeman to get back to his feet. Oh Freeman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Hall stands up from Freeman's guard - Hall perhaps looking for a knockout. Freeman seems to have got his legs back now. Hall getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Hall misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hall thows a body shot but no joy. Freeman connects with the punch. Freeman takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Hall throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hall takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hall is rocked! Freeman moves out of range as Hall throws a body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall stuns Freeman with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Freeman takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Freeman is breathing heavily. Hall drops Freeman with a nice combination! Hall is looking to work some ground and pound but Freeman has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hall is looking to stand up but Freeman won't let him. Hall passes Freeman's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hall works his way into side control. Hall stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Hall cracks Freeman with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Freeman has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Freeman there as he acknowledges the shot. Hall will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Freeman pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Hall is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Nice combo by Hall! Oh, that's hurt him - Freeman falls to the canvas and Hall follows him into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hall stands up and beckons Freeman to his feet. Freeman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Hall will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hall throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Freeman steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Hall. That one must have hurt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesse Hall dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Freeman moves out of range of the strikes. Jesse Hall seems to be getting the better of the standup. Hall looks to land a left hand but Freeman moved out of range nicely. Hall thows a body shot but no joy. Freeman moves out of range as Hall strikes. Hall tried to score with a low kick but Freeman checks it. Hall throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Gordon Freeman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hall misses with a few strikes there.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Freeman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hall.
Hall scores with a jab. Freeman acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Freeman avoids the body shot from Hall.
A combination from Freeman does no damage. Hall misses with an uppercut. Freeman saw that one coming. The crowd cheers as Hall lands an impressive looking overhand right. Freeman doesn't seem phased though. Hall looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hall misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Freeman.

and Freeman counters with a huge left! Hall is in big trouble! He's backing up but Freeman isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Hall from any more damage. A dominating finish by Freeman!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King fails with a takedown attempt from distance. King lands with a shot to the body. McGuirk is looking to clinch but King is avoiding it.
McGuirk gets a clinch. King jumps guard but McGuirk stands there with King around his waist. King gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
McGuirk wants a takedown but no success here.
McGuirk is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. King manages to break the clinch.
McGuirk misses with a takedown attempt - King sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A momentary lapse in concentration from McGuirk enables King to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. McGuirk manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. McGuirk wants to control but King passes easily into half guard.

My spies in Australian Xtreme Elite Stand Up Training inform me that King has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McGuirk avoiding damage under a succession of punches from King. King looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Armor King wasn't active enough on the ground. King shoots in for a double leg but McGuirk sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. John McGuirk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Armor King. McGuirk slaps away a takedown attempt from King, before circling back to the center of the mat. McGuirk tries for a takedown but King sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. King throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. McGuirk fakes high and swings low for a body shot but King manages to avoid it.

King gets tackled into the cage by McGuirk. McGuirk maintains the clinch. King is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. King wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Our sources have told us that McGuirk has been working on his elbows in the gym. McGuirk drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

This has been an exciting period of action! McGuirk would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. King throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. McGuirk wants to control from the top but King keeps moving. McGuirk looking to sit in guard and control but King gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. King is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that John McGuirk will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

McGuirk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. King gets a clinch. McGuirk lands a right hand that snaps the head of King backwards. McGuirk avoiding damage as King throws knees to the body.
King has McGuirk pressed against the cage, preventing McGuirk from circling away and getting back to striking at range. King jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as McGuirk walks away with a smile on his face. King gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. King ducks under a wild hook from McGuirk. King gets the takedown into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McGuirk is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here as King stalls from top position. King is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. McGuirk knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. King working away. McGuirk is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McGuirk is not content to let King control the position. McGuirk tries to improve position but can't. King trying to control the action but McGuirk is working from the bottom. King just content to control the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. McGuirk is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but King has just dragged him back down to the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! Armor King comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think King has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jonathon shoots in for a takedown but Bronson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jonathon misses with a takedown attempt - Bronson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bronson leaves Jonathon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jack Bronson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Jonathon. Bronson moves into range and clinches up with Jonathon. Bronson throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Bronson has Jonathon pushed against the cage. Bronson blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Jonathon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bronson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. A short uppercut from Bronson. Bronson taking a breather. Jonathon drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Bronson is fending him off so far but Jonathon persists. Nope, Bronson circles away and we're back to standing. Jonathon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bronson's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Bronson is trying to keep Jonathon in close.
Jonathon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Bronson controls Jonathon momentarily but Jonathon frees himself.

Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Jonathon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bronson is just riding it out for now. Jonathon eventually gives up the hold. Bronson tries to kick Jonathon off but Jonathon keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jack Bronson will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid body kick from Kelly. Kelly takes a swing at A million ankle's ribcage but misses. Kelly falls off balance throwing a combination
and A million ankle counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Kelly throws a nice outside leg kick. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kelly.
Jim Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kelly scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kelly works A million ankle's body with a nice hook. Kelly tries to bum rush A million ankle with a series of wild strikes but A million ankle uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kelly lands a left and a right that send A million ankle crashing to the mat, dazed. Kelly thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Nice defenses there by Constantinides. Constantinides connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Constantinides cracks a nice hook into Bane's ribs. Constantinides lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Blood Bane has been cut. Constantinides gets a takedown into half guard. We've been hearing that Constantinides has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Constantinides wants to free his trapped foot but Bane is holding on for dear life with his legs. Constantinides with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bane keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Constantinides. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Constantinides thows a huge punch but Bane dodges it nicely.

Constantinides drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Constantinides is looking to take a break and control but Bane is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bane prevents Constantinides from improving position. Bane is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Bane felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Constantinides is trying to ground and pound but Bane uses the momentary lack of control by Constantinides to regain half guard.

Bane rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Constantinides moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bane tries to keep at a distance but Constantinides has taken the fight into the clinch. Bane escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Constantinides moves in looking to clinch but Bane pushes him off. Constantinides tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Blood Bane has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bane throws a front kick aimed at Constantinides's knee but Constantinides avoids it well. Constantinides tries to clinch up but Bane circles away and keeps his distance. Blood Bane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Constantinides lands a head kick. Bane smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
The cut above Blood Bane's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Bane fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Constantinides checks it well. Constantinides avoids a kick to the body.
Ares Constantinides is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bane misses with a hook. Constantinides feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Constantinides in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bane pulls Constantinides in close to his closed guard and prevents Constantinides from doing any damage or advancing position. Constantinides tries to free his leg and advance position but Bane is retaining full guard. Constantinides sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bane's guard. Constantinides passes the guard and advances to mount! Ares Constantinides is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bane wants to hold on but Constantinides pushes him away. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bane flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
