The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Michael connects with a leg kick. Turnbuckle looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Michael definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Michael throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Michael takes one to the side of the head.
Michael misses with a body kick. Turnbuckle dips to his left and cracks Michael with an uppercut! Turnbuckle throws a chopping leg kick but Michael manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Michael ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Turnbuckle shoots in but no luck this time. Michael works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Michael throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Turnbuckle decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Michael's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Michael looking to hit a scissor sweep but Turnbuckle is one step ahead there. Turnbuckle trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Turnbuckle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Turnbuckle wants to pass the guard but Michael is keeping the position. Michael working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Turnbuckle. Turnbuckle wants to control from the top but Michael keeps moving. Turnbuckle throws a big right hand that misses. Turnbuckle working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jared Michael. Turnbuckle lands with a nice body punch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Turnbuckle. Turnbuckle throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Michael thuds a left hand into Turnbuckle's body. Turnbuckle misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jared Michael has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dexter Turnbuckle. Turnbuckle fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Michael has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Michael swings and misses with a shot to the body and Turnbuckle counters with a shoot takedown. Michael fights it but they end up in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Michael avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Turnbuckle scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Michael manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Turnbuckle tries to reverse the position but Michael maintains control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jared Michael dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Dexter Turnbuckle's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Turnbuckle crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Michael - the referee stops the clock and Turnbuckle gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Michael. Turnbuckle manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Michael looks to land a combination but Turnbuckle avoids it well. Turnbuckle on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Michael. Michael obviously looking to wear him down.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Michael. Turnbuckle shoots in for a double leg but Michael sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Michael cracks Turnbuckle with a good jab. Turnbuckle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Michael sprawls well initially but Turnbuckle persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Michael knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Turnbuckle on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Michael is refusing to be controlled, as Turnbuckle sits in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Michael controlling the position well. Turnbuckle throwing shots but Michael is blocking nicely. Turnbuckle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Michael keeps working. Michael is trying to maintain the position but Turnbuckle is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Michael controlling the position well. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Michael slips a straight right by Turnbuckle. Michael will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Good shot there by Turnbuckle. Michael misses with a body kick. Turnbuckle chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Michael can pounce on him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Turnbuckle or perhaps it was just good defense by Michael which made him look bad. Turnbuckle thows a left - swing and a miss! Turnbuckle on the wrong end of a nice hook. Michael misses with the combination.
Michael wants to slow Turnbuckle down by chopping away at his legs. Jared Michael is winning the standup battle so far. Michael dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Michael throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Turnbuckle counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Turnbuckle. Michael keeping moving, preventing Turnbuckle from controlling successfully. This has been an exciting period of action! Turnbuckle loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

We've been hearing good reports from Korczewski's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Better trying to control the position here. Korczewski stands and steps away. Better gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

After the fight, Kamil Korczewski was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kothciushco has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kothciushco there as he acknowledges the shot. A shot to the liver by Sakkara. Beautiful body shot. Sakkara digs a good hook to Kothciushco's body.
Sakkara throws a jab but it's blocked by Kothciushco. Sakkara lands a glancing blow to the side of Kothciushco's head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sakkara cracks Kothciushco with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Kothciushco falls to his knees and Sakkara doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Shinra got a little sloppy there for a moment and Aureus has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Shinra has managed to get both his arms back between Aureus's legs - danger averted. Aureus throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

It looks like Staph Aureus has been cut. Shinra stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aureus swivels though and keeps the full guard. Aureus throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Shinra postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Aureus has momentary wrist control but Shinra slips an elbow through the middle. Shinra lands a couple of decent looking shots. Shinra trying to control the position from guard on top but Aureus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Shinra looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Aureus working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Shinra.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shinra trying to control the position from guard on top but Aureus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Aureus is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Shinra is aware though and is defending well. Shinra with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Shinra connects with a couple of short punches. Shinra is working Aureus over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Staph Aureus's cut is getting worse. Shinra advances to half guard. Shinra throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Aureus to regain full guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Shinra working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Shinra trying to control but Aureus is working from the bottom. Shinra drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Aureus manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Shinra has Aureus in his guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Seifer Shinra will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Staph Aureus's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Aureus looking to pass the guard. Aureus trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Shinra manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Aureus working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shinra doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shinra manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Shinra wants to control from the top but Aureus keeps moving.

He pushes Lister off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Lister fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Cantwell throws a nice inside leg kick. Cantwell misses with a few strikes there.

Lister tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cantwell defends well and Lister ends up having to push Cantwell into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Cantwell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cantwell misses with a body kick. Lister with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cantwell to score with a decent uppercut. Lister has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cantwell finds it's way round the side to connect with Lister's head. Cantwell catches Lister with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Lister forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller fails with the takedown and Guida counters with a straight right hand. Miller shoots in and drives through. Guida sprawls well. Miller tries to clinch but Guida moves out of range. Jim Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Guida tries to keep at a distance but Miller has taken the fight into the clinch. Miller told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Miller is trying to pull guard but Guida turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Clay Guida has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Miller. Miller has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Guida uses from the top position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Miller is pulling down on Guida's head. It's preventing any offense from Guida, at least for the moment. Guida trying to control but Miller is working from the bottom. Miller trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

We've heard reports from his gym mates at Soul Supremacy Elite Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Guida has his hands clasped together around Miller's back. He's all about the action. Miller is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Guida sees it coming and defends easily. Miller uses his free foot to push down on Guida's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Guida. Miller looking to control but Guida is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Miller avoids the attempt from Guida to control. Miller putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Guida wants to control but Miller is having none of it. Miller looking to finish Guida with some ground and pound. This is bad for Guida! Guida tries to hold on but Miller pushes him away. Miller trying to control but he's not successful this time. Miller lands a nice shot to the head. Miller cracks Guida with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Guida is hurt baaadly! Miller is firing away with more strikes - Guida is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Gutz. Robertson throws a head kick that misses. Robertson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Gutz pushes Robertson up against the cage in a clinch. A frustrated look appears on Robertson's face as he tries to break the clinch. Gutz has Robertson pressed against the cage, preventing Robertson from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Robertson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Robertson breaks from the clinch.
Gutz with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Robertson to score with a decent uppercut. Gutz lands a left and a right that send Robertson crashing to the mat, dazed. Gutz thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Jase Robertson has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gutz drops Robertson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Robertson looks back up at him and smiles so Gutz waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Robertson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Robertson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Richards. Clinton misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Richards throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Clinton throws out a loose jab but Richards uses good head movement to avoid it. Clinton dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Richards shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Clinton ducks right into an uppercut from Richards. Clinton throws a good cross that connects.
Clinton throws a looping overhand right but Richards ducks down to avoid it. Clinton shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Richards defends it nicely. Richards buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Richards throws a sloppy head kick and Clinton moves out of range easily. Richards swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Clinton checks a leg kick. Richards has been working on his boxing with his coaches at DILLIGAF Dojo II in the buildup to the fight. Richards delivers a nice body kick.

Viv Richards is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Clinton tries to close the distance and clinch up but Richards swats him away and circles back towards the center. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Richards. Richards throws a head kick but Clinton moves out of range.

Clinton lands a few punches from side control. Clinton has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Clinton tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Sloppy strikes there by Clinton. Richards tries to bench press Clinton off him but Clinton keeps the position. Clinton looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Richards is avoiding damage well.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Clinton lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Richards hang on? Clinton lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Clinton avoids the attempt from Richards to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
