4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reynard The Fox! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.

The Fox tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Stewfis is able to avoid easily. The Fox tries for a takedown but Stewfis circles away easily and Stewfis counters with a stiff right hand. The Fox shoots for a takedown but Stewfis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Tubbins Stewfis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reynard The Fox. The Fox fails with the takedown. The Fox looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. The Fox throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Stewfis counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. The Fox has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. The Fox looks winded! The Fox on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Stewfis. Stewfis obviously looking to wear him down.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The Fox shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stewfis but Stewfis pushes him off and we're back to square one. The Fox shoots for a double leg takedown but Stewfis sprawls well. He's pushed The Fox's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. The Fox takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Stewfis lands a left and a right that send The Fox crashing to the mat, dazed. Stewfis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Can Stewfis finish him? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stewfis is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Stewfis shuts the power down on The Fox. Lights out, game over! Stewfis is your winner.

Maynard closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Maynard is pressed against the cage. Johnson pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Maynard! Two more big strikes from Johnson and Maynard crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!

Grimshaw shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Anthony but Anthony pushes him off and we're back to square one. Greg Anthony has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darius Grimshaw. Grimshaw darts in looking for a takedown but Anthony gets double underhooks and turns Grimshaw into the cage.
Anthony drops Grimshaw with a big knee straight up the middle! Grimshaw is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Nice body kick there by Anthony. Anthony lands a nice looking kick to the body. Grimshaw takes a step back to recover. Anthony scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Anthony tries a head kick but it misses.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Anthony dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Grimshaw. That did some damage! Grimshaw takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Greg Anthony is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Anthony throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Grimshaw is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

He's got his arms around Kirkness Tw's waist but Kirkness Tw gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cramdon off to one side. Cramdon shoots in for a double leg but Kirkness Tw sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cramdon shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ralph Cramdon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cramdon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cramdon showed some decent athleticism there. Kirkness Tw felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kirkness Tw can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Cramdon trying to control from half guard but Kirkness Tw is working away. Cramdon passes to side control.
Cramdon in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Kirkness Tw is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ralph Cramdon! A very excited looking Ralph Cramdon made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

Alvarez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Koetsuji cracks Alvarez with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Mike Alvarez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alvarez scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Koetsuji struggling a bit here. Koetsuji gets back to half guard. Koetsuji is refusing to be controlled, as Alvarez sits in half guard.
Alvarez is trying for a kimura here. Koetsuji looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Alvarez wins by kimura!

Parker closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Parker lands in his opponent's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Parker makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Parker throwing strikes from guard but Dong blocks nicely. Parker postures up.
Dong is looking for a triangle but Parker pushes his legs off easily.
Dong can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Parker controls the pace. Parker throws a big elbow that misses. Dong is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Parker avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Parker throws an elbow that misses. Dong uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Parker's guard. Nice move by Dong! Parker manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Steuermann shoots for a takedown but Adams saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Steuermann shoots in for a double leg but Adams sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Steuermann shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Adams defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wolfgang Steuermann. That's going to take a lot out of him. A combination from Adams does no damage. Steuermann blocks a head kick by Adams.
Steuermann looks for a takedown but Adams sprawls well. Adams throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Steuermann. Steuermann slips a jab and a cross from Adams.
Steuermann shoots in for a takedown but Adams shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Adams misses with a leg kick. Adams misses with a series of wild punches.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Adams has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Steuermann swinging wildly here.

Adams throws a series of punches but Steuermann moves out of range. Steuermann wants to land a leg kick but Adams is out of range. Adams lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Steuermann shoots in but no luck this time. Steuermann dives in for a single leg takedown but Adams sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Adams wants to get back to striking at distance but Steuermann won't allow it.
Steuermann pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Adams throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Steuermann dives in for a single leg takedown but Adams sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Adams prevents the takedown attempt.
Adams breaks the clinch.
Adams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Steuermann will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Adams throws a sloppy head kick and Steuermann moves out of range easily.
Oooooh!!! Adams has knocked Steuermann down with a huge combo! Adams steps away and waves a wobbly Steuermann back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Steuermann fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Steuermann looks to land a combination but Adams avoids it well. Steuermann shoots in looking for a takedown but Adams manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Steuermann's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Adams swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Steuermann lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Adams circles away quickly and effectively. Adams ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Adams rushes Steuermann with punches - Steuermann moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Steuermann goes down! Adams follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Clarence Adams!
