The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liana takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Ray throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Liana's waist but Liana gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ray off to one side.
Ray tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Liana has a takedown stuffed.
Ray could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Liana shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ray pinned against the cage. Ray gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ray is looking to defend but Liana has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ray! Liana pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ray taps out and this one is all over!

Oliveira lands a leg kick that knocks Lepikhin off balance momentarily.
Lepikhin swats away the attempt to clinch by Oliveira.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lepikhin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Salnik is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Salnik hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

A less than humble Dmitri Salnik misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

Sam takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Fireman Sam has been cut.
Don lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Don throws out a powerful jab.
Sam throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Don sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Don looks to score with a jab to the body but Sam is just out of range.

Sam fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Don to the ground. Sam is now in Don's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Don is looking for a triangle but Sam pushes his legs off easily.
Sam wants to pass the guard but Don is keeping the position.

Don had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sam defends it easily.
Sam stands up over Don, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Don has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sam is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Don.

Don is trying to push Sam away but Sam has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Sam turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sam manages to end up in side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Don has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Sam doesn't defend quickly enough and Don has managed to lock this one up! Can Sam escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Don on a fantastic submission victory.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jungle Boogie hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Boogie lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! James goes down and covers up as Boogie starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Jungle Boogie was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruiz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Ruiz shoots in looking for a takedown but Yagami manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ruiz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Ruiz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yagami's waist but Yagami gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ruiz off to one side.

Yagami drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yagami jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
