0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jimmy Barnett! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barnett has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Coleman. Barnett swings away with a body shot that misses
and Barnett takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Barnett on the wrong end of a nice jab. Barnett shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Coleman counters with an outside leg kick.
Barnett wants to clinch but Coleman slips to the side and Coleman counters with a good low kick that Barnett was not able to check. Jimmy Barnett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barnett closes the distance but Coleman moves to the side and Coleman counters with a slapping leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Barnett tries to land a body kick and Coleman counters with an outside leg kick.
Barnett throws a leg kick and Coleman counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Barnett looks winded! Barnett has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Coleman. A solid leg kick lands there for Coleman.
Coleman fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Coleman lands a jab to the nose. Barnett takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Decent striking displayed by Coleman there. Coleman plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Jimmy Barnett has been cut. Coleman jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Coleman dips down and scores with a jab to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Barnett throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Coleman scores with a push kick. A jab lands there for Coleman. Coleman throws a nice inside leg kick. Barnett takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Coleman uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Coleman lands a big right hand that sends Barnett crashing to the mat! Coleman stays standing though and waves Barnett back to his feet!
Barnett is rocked! Coleman cracks Barnett with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Coleman has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Barnett to stand back up! Barnett is still on wobbly legs! Can Coleman finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coleman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Barnett seems to have recovered his senses. Coleman connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Whack! Coleman lands a heavy head kick that drops Barnett. The ref tackles Coleman to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Barnett was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Roosevelt Coleman! A relieved looking Roosevelt Coleman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Struve shoots in but Pan avoids the takedown attempt easily. Struve shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Struve darts in looking for a takedown but Pan gets double underhooks and turns Struve into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Struve. That's going to take a lot out of him. Struve jumps guard and drags Pan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Struve is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Pan has his hands clasped together but Struve extends and breaks Pan's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Struve.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pijakowski closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Horvat did well to prevent Pijakowski getting side control. Pijakowski takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Pijakowski is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Pijakowski wants to free his trapped foot but Horvat is holding on for dear life with his legs. Pijakowski content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Horvat has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Horvat looking for submissions off his back. Horvat looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Pijakowski pushes past his half guard into mount! Horvat really is a fat lump.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pijakowski's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Horvat is wriggling around trying to escape.

Pijakowski thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Pijakowski lands an elbow. Pijakowski decides to stand up, so the ref orders Horvat to his feet. Horvat walks into a left hand. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This has been an exciting period of action! Pijakowski lands a glancing blow to the side of Horvat's head. Pijakowski gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Pijakowski is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Pijakowski gets a trip takedown into half guard. Pijakowski gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Horvat tries to sprawl but Pijakowski drives through with a takedown into half guard. Pijakowski is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pijakowski is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Horvat to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Horvat shrugs it off. Pijakowski controlling the pace for now. Pijakowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Horvat. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Horvat really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Karol Pijakowski has got the better of the ground game so far. Pijakowski manages to capitalize on a mistake by Horvat to take his back! Pijakowski is riding his opponent, not letting Horvat buck him off.

Pijakowski has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Pijakowski trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Horvat doesn't escape. Pijakowski is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Horvat knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Horvat for a finish. Horvat is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Pijakowski takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson slips under a jab from Smith. Jackson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Jackson lands with a straight right. Smith didn't see that one coming. Smith shoots in but no luck this time. Smith uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jackson.
Smith looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Smith tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jackson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jackson tries a low kick but Smith avoids it. Jab from Jackson. Smith drives through with a takedown into Jackson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Jackson controlling the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Smith won't allow Jackson to sweep him here. Smith postures up and lands a big shot to Jackson's brow. Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Smith tries to free his leg and advance position but Jackson is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jackson is looking to stand up but Smith isn't so interested in that idea. Jackson controls Smith momentarily but Smith frees himself.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jacob Smith. Smith misses with a series of wild punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson jabs Smith to the body, keeping him at a distance. Jackson slaps away a takedown attempt from Smith, before circling back to the center of the mat. Pookie Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacob Smith. A thudding body kick lands there by Jackson!
Horrible takedown by Smith or perhaps it was just good defense by Jackson which made him look bad. Jacob Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smith is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Smith. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smith is defended easily by Jackson. Smith fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jackson.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Smith moves out of range of the body kick from Jackson.
Jackson works Smith's body with a nice hook. The fight stays on the outside here - Smith looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jackson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Smith.
Smith fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Smith takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Smith takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Smith looks winded! A nice leg kick lands there from Jackson. Smith takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson lands a jab to the head.

We're going to have a standup here because George Ramierez wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. A momentary lapse in concentration from Mansfield enables Ramierez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mansfield manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Mansfield can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ramierez controls the pace. Ramierez has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ramierez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ramierez tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mansfield knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Ramierez slows the pace down in half guard. Ramierez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ramierez is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Ramierez seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Faithful stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Faithful wants it to stay on the feet. Faithful has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Pitt in the buildup to the fight. Redmunsta dives in and grabs Faithful's left leg, looking for a takedown. Faithful pushes down on Redmunsta's head and hops out. A punch combination from Faithful misses. Redmunsta tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Faithful throws a series of punches but Redmunsta avoids them all with ease. A head kick misses from Redmunsta. Faithful lands a left and a right that send Redmunsta crashing to the mat, dazed. Faithful thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like James Redmunsta has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Faithful pounces like a tiger and cracks Redmunsta with a vicious hook! Redmunsta is down but not out! Faithful follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Pig trying to pass the guard but De Villefort defending well. Pig content to control rather than advance. De Villefort throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Pig throws an uppercut from half a mile away. De Villefort sees it coming and avoids it easily. De Villefort bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. De Villefort lands with a nice body kick. Pig will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. De Villefort turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. De Villefort lands a big head kick that sends Pig tumbling to the mat! De Villefort takes a step backwards and waves Pig back to his feet - he wants the finish! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! De Villefort lands with a nice body kick. A nice inside leg kick there by De Villefort. That's going to slow Pig down. A kick lands to the mid section there for De Villefort.
And that's the end of the fight! Gerard De Villefort comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Pig has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Waby keeping moving, preventing A Name from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. That's two minutes gone in the round. A Name wants to control from the top but Waby keeps moving. A Name slips nicely into half guard. A Name trying to pass the guard but Waby defending well.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. A Name looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Waby tries to get to full guard but A Name has control of the leg. A Name really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Waby has instead reached around A Name's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Waby arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
