The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Claxton tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fuamatufa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A punch combination from Fuamatufa misses.

Fuamatufa cracks Claxton with an uppercut from hell and Claxton crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Fuamatufa's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

It looks like Jim Claxton has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
