Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luke Deans! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devin Houle! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Houle goes for a double leg but Deans avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Deans continues to drive forward. Houle is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Deans gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Deans gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Houle regains guard.
Deans throws an elbow that misses. Houle uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Deans's guard. Nice move by Houle! Houle wants to control from the top but Deans keeps moving. Houle has gone for a leg lock! Deans slips out almost immediately though and dives into Houle's guard. Deans has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Deans distracts Houle with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Deans is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Deans keeping moving, preventing Houle from controlling successfully. Houle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Deans swivels though and keeps the full guard. Houle drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Deans manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Houle has Deans in his guard. Deans throws a big right hand that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Houle preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Deans stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Houle swivels though and keeps the full guard. Houle has an active guard here but Deans has managed to pass into half guard.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Deans connects with a nice short shot to Houle's temple. Deans wants to lay and pray for a moment but Houle keeps working. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Houle trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Deans manages to pass to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Deans lands a nice shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Deans has his hands clasped together but Houle extends and breaks Deans's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Houle.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Alto is fending him off so far but Boa persists. Nope, Alto circles away and we're back to standing. Alto wants to clinch. Alto wants to clinch up but Boa keeps it at a distance. Boa shoots in but Alto avoids the takedown attempt easily. Boa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Alto avoids it really well and circles away. Donnie Alto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Constrictor Boa. Boa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Alto sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Boa somewhat. Alto works over Boa's head and body with a nice combination. Alto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Boa moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Alto misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boa darts in looking for a takedown but Alto gets double underhooks and turns Boa into the cage. Alto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Boa keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Alto.

Boa tries to keep at a distance but Alto has taken the fight into the clinch. Boa works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Alto looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boa is one step ahead there. Alto is trying to control the position but Boa postures up. Alto wants to sweep here but Boa controlling him for the moment. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Boa misses with a takedown attempt - Alto sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Boa tries for a takedown but Alto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A right-left combo lands from Alto. Alto lands an overhand right. Alto misses with a jab, cross combination.

He's pushed Alto off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Alto screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Fresh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Groove was well out of range. Poor timing from Fresh. Fresh wants to land a leg kick but Groove is out of range. Groove moves out of range as Fresh strikes. Fresh looks to land a right hand but Groove moved out of range. Groove shoots in but Fresh avoids the takedown attempt easily. Fresh misses with a few strikes there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Kirk. Those never looked like landing. Lesnar takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Kirk connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Horrible takedown by Lesnar or perhaps it was just good defense by Kirk which made him look bad. Kirk closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lesnar circles away. Kirk leaves Lesnar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kirk's corner calls for a 1-2. Kirk obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Kirk tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lesnar defends well and Kirk ends up having to push Lesnar into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Lesnar breaks the clinch.

Lesnar gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kirk. Kirk jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kirk tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lesnar defends well and Kirk ends up having to push Lesnar into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Brock Lesnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brett Kirk. Kirk wants a takedown.

King's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Blackmore throws a punch but it's blocked by King. Blackmore's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Blackmore looks to land a right hand but King moved out of range. King is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Blackmore tries to work over King's front leg with a kick but King checks it. King checks a low kick from Blackmore. Blackmore stuns King with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. King's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Blackmore connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! King scrambles back to his feet. King fails in his attempt to clinch. Nice defenses there by Blackmore.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nassoon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Peters sprawls well initially but Nassoon persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Nassoon is working for a submission of some sort.
Nassoon is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Peters has managed to free his arm - good work. Nassoon is breathing heavily. Peters misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Peters wants to improve his position but Nassoon is controlling well.

He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Nassoon goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Peters is on top in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Peters postures up and lands a big shot to Nassoon's brow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's one minute gone in the round. Nassoon manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Peters on his heels. He'll look to pass Peters's guard now, I'm sure. Peters thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Nassoon preventing the sweep. Peters is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Nassoon is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Peters trying to keep a closed guard but Nassoon is proving a slippery customer.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Peters tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peters bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nassoon's guard. Peters trying to control the position from guard on top but Nassoon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Nassoon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Peters's guard. Nassoon trying to move into half guard but instead Peters has managed to sweep! Nassoon preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Peters wants to control from the top but Nassoon keeps moving. Jerry Nassoon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Peters tries to roll over but Nassoon keeps him under control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Peters kicks off Nassoon and gets to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but James Peters will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kuznetsov tries to clinch up but Rodquivez circles away and keeps his distance. Rodquivez lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kuznetsov backs up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rodquivez lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Rodquivez is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Kuznetsov slips a jab and a cross from Rodquivez.
Nice body punch from Rodquivez. Rodquivez lands a left and a right that send Kuznetsov crashing to the mat, dazed. Rodquivez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Prizefighter throws a nice inside leg kick. Nice sprawl there from Prizefighter as Gyros shoots in. Prizefighter buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Prizefighter enables Gyros to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Prizefighter manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Gyros wants to control from the top but Prizefighter keeps moving. Gyros controlling from the top position. Gyros stops Prizefighter from standing up. Gyros stays in close to Prizefighter's body and controls the position. Prizefighter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Greek Gyros. Prizefighter misses with an uppercut. Gyros saw that one coming. Prizefighter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gyros paws at him with a jab and circles away. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gyros tries to score a power double leg takedown but Prizefighter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gyros somewhat. Prizefighter is in the full mount, landing strikes. Gyros sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Gyros is refusing to be controlled, as Prizefighter sits in half guard. Gyros has hold of Prizefighter's hands but Prizefighter slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Prizefighter prevents Gyros from standing back up.
Gyros is controlling Prizefighter's trapped leg to prevent Prizefighter from advancing to side control. Prizefighter thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Prizefighter looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Gyros trying to control but Prizefighter postures up.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Veide tries to work over Fertus's front leg with a kick but Fertus checks it. Fertus keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Veide misses with a looping left. Fertus blocks the body kick.
Veide misses with a lunging right hand
and Fertus counters with an inside leg kick. Veide tries to clinch but Fertus moves out of range. Veide gets off balance looking for a body kick and Fertus counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Fertus wants to clinch. Veide connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Fertus walks into a straight right hand from Veide. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Veide throws a right and a left that both miss.

Veide fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fertus manages to avoid it. Veide drops Fertus with a big left hand! Fertus is injured, injured bad! Veide jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
