The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Costa moves in looking to clinch but Blake pushes him off. A head kick misses from Costa. Jadyson Costa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Costa tries to clinch there but Blake circles away.
Blake stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Blake wants it to stay on the feet. Costa has his takedown stuffed and Blake counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Blake. Costa is breathing heavily. Costa keeping full guard, as Blake tries to pass. A punch lands to the side of Manson 's head but he takes it in his stride. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Manson looks to land a right hand but Butts moved out of range. Manson connects with a solid leg kick. Butts paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Butts moves out of range of the strikes. Manson tries a head kick but it misses.

Manson misses with a body kick. Manson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Butts has cracked Manson with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Butts lands another huge swinging hook and Manson tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Manson, before Butts can land any more shots!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sorrowe looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for The Impaler! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. The Impaler is looking for a sweep. Sorrowe tries to score with some ground and pound. The Impaler controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. The Impaler parries the strikes from Sorrowe easily there. Sorrowe is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable The Impaler to escape.
Sorrowe scores with a couple of short elbows. The Impaler wants to control but Sorrowe postures up. Sorrowe connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused The Impaler some visible discomfort.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The Impaler is trying to escape the position but Sorrowe is controlling the position. The Impaler is trying to get back to half guard. Sloppy strikes there by Sorrowe. The Impaler prevents Sorrowe from moving into mount. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tepes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tepes wants it to stay on the feet. Tepes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Breeze displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tepes throws out the jab. Breeze shoots in but Tepes avoids the takedown attempt easily. Breeze changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tepes tries to avoid it but Breeze manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tepes to the ground. Tepes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Breeze. That's going to take a lot out of him. Breeze shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Breeze showed some decent athleticism there. Breeze not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Tepes keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Breeze is nestled in close to Tepes, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Breeze connects with a nice short shot to Tepes's temple. Breeze controlling the action here. Breeze changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tepes looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Tepes defending against the ground and pound. Breeze throwing strikes but Tepes manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Breeze here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Breeze sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Breeze trying to hold on to Tepes's head to control him but Tepes postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Breeze regains half guard. Tepes is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Alucard Tepes hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. The fight moves into the clinch position. Tepes lands with a left to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tepes tries to work over Breeze's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Breeze blocking some punches.

Tepes lands with a light punch inside. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Tepes. Tepes tries to throw a body punch but Breeze avoids it by throwing Tepes back against the cage. Breeze can't find room to land a body shot as Tepes controls the action.

Alucard Tepes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
