The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunter lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Ali Aliwad has been cut. Aliwad looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Aliwad is defended easily by Hunter. Hunter explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hunter lands a big uppercut and Aliwad crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Aliwad looks OK. Hunter waves Aliwad back to his feet! Aliwad takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Aliwad is breathing heavily. Aliwad takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
That kick from Hunter tenderised Aliwad's leg. Aliwad is trying to keep his angry face on. Hunter moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Hunter lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Aliwad at a distance.
Hunter ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Aliwad's jaw. Aliwad's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Hunter does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). The Hunter! The Hunter was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fernandez gets caught napping as Lewis dives in and scores a takedown. Fernandez manages to retain guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Lewis tries to stand but Fernandez is controlling from the bottom. Fernandez is trying to keep Lewis in close.
Fernandez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lewis is controlling him. Lewis looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lewis closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Fernandez keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fernandez tries to get to full guard but Lewis has control of the leg. Lewis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fernandez's head. Fernandez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lewis pulls his head out easily. Fernandez looking for submissions off his back. Fernandez is trying to maintain the position but Lewis is very close to passing his half guard. Lewis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fernandez is just riding it out for now. Lewis eventually gives up the hold. Fernandez is looking for a sweep. Lewis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lewis moves nicely into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fernandez is trying to control Lewis's posture but Lewis avoids it. Lewis stands up and beckons Fernandez to his feet. Fernandez fails with a takedown attempt. A momentary lapse in concentration from Fernandez enables Lewis to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fernandez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Fernandez tries to land a sweep but no joy. Fernandez trying to control the position.
Lewis gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Fernandez closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lewis's guard. Lewis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Fernandez looks winded!
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lewis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fernandez manages to get himself to full guard.
Lewis landing with the ground and pound. Lewis slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Lewis remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Fernandez should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Lewis wants to control but Fernandez is keeping him busy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lewis tries for a kimura but Fernandez is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Lewis dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Lewis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fernandez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fernandez is trying to improve his position. Lewis tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lewis has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Lewis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Fernandez is not content to let Lewis control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fernandez struggling a bit here. Lewis has an Americana. Fernandez didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Lewis is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Lewis hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Atunes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rivera moves away. A low kick from Rivera is predictable there and Atunes counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rivera thinking. Rivera blocks a head kick by Atunes.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rivera buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Butch Coolidge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Monster Hero! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coolidge throws a hook but Hero blocks it. Hero does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Hero defending well as Coolidge loads up on a big left hand. Hero ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Coolidge moves away. Coolidge shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Coolidge takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Hero moves away from the strike by Coolidge. Coolidge throws the left hand but Hero avoids the punch easily. Coolidge throws a right and a left that both miss. Coolidge throws the left hand but Hero avoids the punch easily. Coolidge lands with a hook. Hero tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Coolidge misses with the combination.
Coolidge looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hero lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hero attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Hero with a body punch. A glancing blow. No joy there for Coolidge, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Butch Coolidge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hero fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Coolidge looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Coolidge is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coolidge takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like Butch Coolidge has been cut. Coolidge swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hero scores with a hook. Good work by Coolidge as he checks the leg kick. Coolidge throws an off balance right hand
and Hero makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hero stuns Coolidge with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Hero digs a good hook to Coolidge's body.
Coolidge takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Coolidge misses with a hook. The crowd cheers as Hero lands an impressive looking overhand right. Coolidge doesn't seem phased though.
Butch Coolidge's cut is getting worse. Hero lands a nice hook to Coolidge's body. Coolidge takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Hero scores with a jab to the head.
Hero cracks a nice hook into Coolidge's ribs. Hero jabs Coolidge to the body, keeping him at a distance. Hero throws a shot to the body.
Coolidge takes a body punch but keeps moving. Hero wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coolidge moves out of range of the leg kick from Hero. Hero lands with a cross. Coolidge throws a right and a left that both miss. Hero is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Coolidge rather than just go for the knockout. Coolidge takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Butch Coolidge's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Hero scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Hero cracks Coolidge with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Coolidge falls to his knees and Hero doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
