The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heywood shoots in looking for a takedown but Laffite manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Heywood's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Laffite throws a sloppy head kick and Heywood moves out of range easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Heywood. Horrible takedown by Heywood or perhaps it was just good defense by Laffite which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Simon Heywood. That's going to take a lot out of him. Heywood has a takedown stuffed. Heywood has a takedown stuffed. Laffite wants to take the fight to the mat but Heywood manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Laffite tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Heywood is rocked! Laffite jerks Heywood's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Heywood drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Laffite goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Laffite because Heywood was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jae Hong Lee will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Brown fails with a takedown attempt. Lee throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brown sees it coming and avoids it easily. Lee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Brown uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lee. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brown walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Brown throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Brown finishes the takedown easily into guard. Lee manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Brown manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown wants to stand but Lee is controlling the position. Lee controlling from the top position. Lee wants to get up but he can't break Brown's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Brown pulls Lee in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee with a flurry of punches that miss. Brown wants to sweep here but Lee controlling him for the moment. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Brown on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Lee swinging wildly here.
Brown fails in his attempt to clinch. No luck with that takedown attempt from Brown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee slips a jab from Brown. Brown displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lee throws out the jab. Brown showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lee.
Brown changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Brown manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jae Hong Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Brown. Lee throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Brown counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A combination from Lee does no damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown forces Lee back against the cage and clinches. Lee makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Brown keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Lee's efforts to push away. Lee stalling the fight.
Brown can't get the takedown.
Brown goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Brown's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Brown goes for a double leg but Lee avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lee continues to drive forward. Brown drags the fight down to the ground.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jae Hong Lee. I think Lee has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Kyle Yager had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

It looks like Kyle Yager has been cut. Altright tries to clinch up. Nice sprawl there from Altright as Yager shoots in. Yager misses with a low kick. Altright shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Yager but Yager pushes him off and we're back to square one. Altright gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Yager counters with a nice uppercut. Altright connects with a looping right hand.
Altright fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Yager. Altright throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yager's waist but Yager gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Altright off to one side. Kyle Yager has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fredrick Altright. Yager takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
