0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Las Vegas! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vegas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Collins as he jumps to the side. Shane Collins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vegas checks the leg kick. Vegas shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Vegas was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Collins on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Collins tries to get out of the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Collins taking punishment in the form of punches.
Check out the look on Vegas's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Vegas has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Collins takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
This has been an exciting period of action! Vegas landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Collins is trying to control Vegas's posture but Vegas avoids it. Collins wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Collins is trying to get back to half guard. Vegas grinds an elbow into Collins's temple. Collins tries to escape but Vegas is in control. Vegas lands a decent elbow from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Collins wants to get back to his feet but Vegas drags him back down. Vegas connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Collins some visible discomfort.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Vegas advances nicely into full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vegas is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Collins is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Collins flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Vegas anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Collins and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Vegas slips an arm under Collins chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Vegas has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Vegas is squeezing on Collins like an anaconda would it's prey. Collins fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vehree defends well against a solid takedown attempt from B O G . B O G misses with a takedown and Vehree counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Vehree. Vehree gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. B O G actively working from the bottom here. Still in half guard, Vehree seems content to control. Vehree scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. B O G is trying to get back to full guard. Vehree rushes B O G and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. B O G goes for a takedown attempt but Vehree pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

B O G wants to hold on but Vehree pushes him away. Vehree manages to capitalize on a mistake by B O G to take his back! B O G is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Vehree gets his way!

B O G manages to reverse the position and now he's in Vehree's guard. Nice work there by B O G .
B O G drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Vehree manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now B O G has Vehree in his guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! B O G working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Vehree has passed into half guard!
And that's the end of the fight! Omppu Vehree showed his dominance in that final round. Well Vehree has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoover connects with the punch. Hoover moves into the clinch. Hoover throws a punch but it's blocked by Quan. Quan has clasped his hands together around Hoover's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Hoover is looking to regain half guard here but Quan keeps moving and retains side control. Hoover is being controlled here. Quan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

You can see the frustration on Hoover's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Quan remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Quan working the head with strikes. Quan creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Hoover tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Quan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Quan wants to pass the guard but Hoover is defending well. Quan takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Hoover wants to improve his position but Quan is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Quan has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Hoover trying to hold on to Quan's head to control him but Quan postures up.
Quan looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Hoover slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Quan won't allow Hoover to sweep him here. Hoover not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hoover has a takedown stuffed. Quan fails in his attempt to clinch. Quan tries for a takedown but Hoover circles away easily and Hoover counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Juan Quan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hoover bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Quan's head. Hoover tries to keep at a distance but Quan has taken the fight into the clinch. Quan manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Quan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hoover counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juan Quan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Quan misses with a body shot.
Quan stuffs the takedown attempt from Hoover. Hoover gets slowly back to his feet. Hoover leaves Quan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hoover clobbers Quan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hoover lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Good work by Quan as he checks the leg kick. Hoover dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Quan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hoover was covering up waiting for the punch and Quan finishes the takedown easily into guard. Hoover is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Quan is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Quan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hoover has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Quan has managed to get both his arms back between Hoover's legs - danger averted. Hoover looking to hit a scissor sweep but Quan is one step ahead there.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Juan Quan. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Quan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stuchfield is looking to land body kicks. Naamat connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Kieron Stuchfield has been cut. Naamat keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stuchfield wants to clinch and Naamat makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Naamat scores with a nice strike. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice sprawl there from Naamat as Stuchfield shoots in. Stuchfield avoids a punch combination nicely.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Po fails with the takedown. Po is trying hard to land a takedown here. Maroshka sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Po shoots in for a double leg but Maroshka sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Durk Maroshka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Po Po. Maroshka lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Po Po has been cut. Po Po seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Maroshka connects with a nice cross there... Po is looking wobbly and Maroshka recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Po to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Maroshka jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Mitrione drops his hands for a split second and Soszynski immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Mitrione face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Soszynski follows up with a right hand that knocks Mitrione into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
