The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Hoklet does no damage. Digogo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hoklet swivels and escapes. Digogo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hoklet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Digogo gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hoklet avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Digogo. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Digogo perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Digogo connects with a nice short shot to Hoklet's temple. Digogo passes to side control. Digogo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hoklet, who protects the arm well. Digogo works to advance to full mount. Hoklet defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Digogo looking to control and managing it successfully. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Digogo lands a big elbow. Hoklet tries to hold on but Digogo pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Digogo working away from the top, dropping strikes. Hoklet is in all sorts of trouble here.
Digogo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hoklet has managed to escape the submission attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dorklicz shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jones manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dorklicz is looking to stand up but Jones won't let him. Dorklicz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dorklicz wants to stand and escape but instead Jones has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Jones sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dorklicz's guard. Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dorklicz is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold.

Jones is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Dorklicz seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Jones has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Jones working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ermie drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Smiff looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ermie is one step ahead there. Smiff trying to keep a closed guard but Ermie is proving a slippery customer.

That was a close second round but I would say that Arlie Ermie will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Smiff has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ermie clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
That's one minute gone in the round. Smiff has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Ermie has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Ermie knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Ermie for a finish. Smiff takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
