The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Pupkoff. No joy for Durden on that attempt.
Pupkoff throws a nice inside leg kick.
Durden lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pupkoff circles away quickly and effectively.
Durden tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pupkoff manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Durden misses with an uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Durden throws a nice looking combination but Pupkoff bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Durden on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Pupkoff cracks the inside of Durden's front leg.

Pupkoff ducks under a wild hook from Durden.
Durden takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
