The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Losev gets a double leg takedown into Jonhnson's guard.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Losev around the waist but Losev pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Losev is the winner by TKO! Losev jumps onto the ropes and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Johnson dodges the punch combination from Rico.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Johnson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Rico feints and then cracks Johnson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Johnson down.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rico sprawls well. Rico wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Johnson checks a leg kick.
Johnson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith moves out of range as Tucker throws a body kick.
Tucker tries to bum rush Smith with a series of wild strikes but Smith uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Smith moves into the clinch successfully.
Smith tries to work over Tucker's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Tucker blocking some punches.
Smith is pushing Tucker up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Smith pushes Tucker back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
The referee calls for Smith to work.
Smith lands a right hand.

Tucker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tucker throws a quick inside leg kick.

Tucker avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Smith cracks Tucker with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Tucker tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Smith pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Tucker is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Starchwhite shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Montilo counters with a shoot takedown. Starchwhite fights it but they end up in guard.
Starchwhite will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Montilo prevents Starchwhite from getting back to his feet.

Montilo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Starchwhite dives on top into guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Starchwhite got a little sloppy there for a moment and Montilo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Starchwhite has managed to get both his arms back between Montilo's legs - danger averted.

Starchwhite is working Montilo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Montilo looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Starchwhite is defending well. Montilo quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Starchwhite has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Montilo celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
