The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scneider manages to get an easy takedown there - catching O Malley on his heels. He'll look to pass O Malley's guard now, I'm sure.
Scneider sitting in guard, not really doing much.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Paulione Scneider.

Scneider gets the takedown into side control.
Scneider lands a decent elbow from side control.
Scneider is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt O Malley will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Paulione Scneider hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Ioannou fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ovechkin sprawls well initially but Ioannou persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Rose drops Da Serra with a naaaaasty hook - Da Serra is in real trouble here! Rose dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Nergal throws a low kick, looking for MacGyver's leg but MacGyver calmly moves out of range.
We've been told by Nergal's head coaches at House of PAIN that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nergal lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and MacGyver has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from MacGyver and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Nergal crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from MacGyver - the referee stops the clock and Nergal gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says MacGyver. Nergal manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Pikachoo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Roussimoff looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Roussimoff looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Roussimoff!

Roussimoff wants to control but Pikachoo is keeping him busy.
Pikachoo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Roussimoff is just content to waste time from the top position. Pikachoo takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pikachoo is the winner by TKO! Pikachoo jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Winnfield throws a right hand that The Cat ducks under and follows up with a left that The Cat also avoids with ease.
Steve The Cat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Cat tries to score with a low kick but Winnfield moves his leg out of the way.

The Cat displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Winnfield throws out the jab.
