2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derk Diggler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, Shane MacLain! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diggler moves out of range of the body kick. The fight moves into the clinch position. MacLain decides to pull guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Diggler slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. MacLain not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Diggler drops back looking for a leg! MacLain is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and MacLain manages to kick Diggler off! Diggler jumps back into MacLain's guard. Diggler sitting in guard, not really doing much. MacLain utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. MacLain wants to stand and escape but Diggler is having none of it. Diggler wants to control from the top but MacLain keeps moving. Diggler is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because MacLain is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Derk Diggler. MacLain darts in looking for a takedown but Diggler gets double underhooks and turns MacLain into the cage. Diggler gets underhooks to prevent MacLain's takedown attempt.
MacLain breaks the clinch.
Diggler goes for a double leg but MacLain avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as MacLain continues to drive forward. Diggler tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. MacLain just stands there and leans against the cage. MacLain ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. MacLain no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Diggler thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Diggler decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Diggler gets a double leg takedown into MacLain's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diggler wants to control from the top but MacLain keeps moving. Diggler decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on MacLain, up you get! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Diggler closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Diggler wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by MacLain, who protects the arm well. MacLain really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diggler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Diggler working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Diggler is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, MacLain has escaped the position, nice work there. Diggler is looking for a kimura. He might have it! That's three minutes gone in the round. Diggler fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Diggler is working to tighten is grip on MacLain's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. MacLain has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Diggler is really squeezing tight and eventually MacLain passes out! Diggler breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mityou shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the cage. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Mityou tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Johnson was well out of range. Poor timing from Mityou . Mityou misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mityou swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. No joy there for Mityou , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mityou tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Johnson fails to land the takedown. Johnson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Johnson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mityou some visible discomfort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson misses with the ground and pound. An elbow from Johnson crashes against the mat.
Mityou tries to bench press Johnson off him but Johnson keeps the position. Sloppy strikes there by Johnson. Johnson fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Johnson scoring with punches and elbows. Mityou tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mityou gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Johnson is thwarting Mityou 's attempts to control the position. Mityou tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mityou tries to clinch up. Nice defenses there by Mityou . A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mityou is defended easily by Johnson. John Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sub Mityou . Mityou throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mityou wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance. Mityou throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Mityou moves into the clinch successfully.
Johnson throws a punch but it's blocked by Mityou . Mityou prevents a body shot from Johnson. Mityou tries to pull guard but Johnson forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Johnson digs a right hand underneath Mityou 's ribcage. Mityou let out a lung full of air as it connected. Mityou content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Johnson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Mityou prevents it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mityou drops down looking for an ankle pick but Johnson pulls his leg out and moves away.

That was a close round but I would say that John Johnson will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Mityou is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Johnson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Johnson's back! I really don't envy Johnson right now.

Mityou bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Johnson's guard. Johnson controls Mityou momentarily but Mityou frees himself. Mityou is fighting to break Johnson's control of his arms but Johnson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Johnson controls Mityou momentarily but Mityou frees himself.

Johnson stops Mityou from passing to mount. Mityou tries for a kimura but Johnson is defending well. Johnson is trying to control Mityou 's posture but Mityou avoids it. Johnson is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Johnson is looking for a sweep.

9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Belcher! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Machine or perhaps it was just good defense by Belcher which made him look bad. Machine tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Belcher swivels and escapes. Belcher keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cardio Machine. That's going to take a lot out of him. Machine fails with a takedown attempt. Belcher has Machine up against the cage in a clinch.
Belcher is trying to break the clinch but Machine has him pressed against the cage. Machine drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Machine has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Belcher after a bit of a struggle. Belcher breaks the clinch.
Machine misses with a few strikes there.
Machine slips a jab and a cross from Belcher.
Machine gets a takedown into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Belcher is trying to maintain the position but Machine is very close to passing his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machine is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Machine slips a nice elbow through Belcher's hands, connecting with Belcher's forehead. Belcher blocking the ground and pound attempt from Machine. Belcher pushes Machine off looking to stand but Machine dives back in and keeps control.
Belcher is defending against the submission attempts here by Machine.
Machine has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Machine looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Belcher wants to get back to his feet.
Machine is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Belcher is just riding it out for now. Machine eventually gives up the hold. Machine looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Machine is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Machine prevents Belcher from improving his position. Machine is thwarting Belcher's attempts to control the position. Machine seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Belcher has recovered full guard. Machine stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Belcher swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Machine throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Machine postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Belcher is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Machine scoring with punches to the head and body. Belcher has his hands on Machine's head, controlling the position. Machine drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Belcher manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Machine has Belcher in his guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Belcher accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cardio Machine dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Machine moves out of range of the strikes. Cardio Machine is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Belcher throws a series of punches but Machine moves out of range. Cardio Machine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Machine fails with the takedown. A jab from Belcher misses. Horrible takedown by Machine or perhaps it was just good defense by Belcher which made him look bad. Nice sprawl there from Belcher as Machine shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cardio Machine. That's going to take a lot out of him. Belcher lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Belcher throws a jab but it's blocked by Machine. Machine will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jab by Belcher. Machine looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Belcher lands a really nice looking cross but Machine seems unphased.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Machine shoots in for a double leg but Belcher sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Belcher Rushes Machine and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Machine is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Belcher Piles on the pressure and Machine crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Belcher! Bob Belcher is the new lightweight champion! Bob Belcher was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
