The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez jabs at Macklin's body. Sanchez slips a straight right by Macklin. Macklin takes the fight into the clinch. Sanchez trying to land knees to the body.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Sanchez as Macklin tries to tie him up. Macklin avoids a wild elbow strike from Sanchez. Sanchez wants to break free but Macklin has control.
Macklin tries to break free but Sanchez pushes him back against the cage. Sanchez is trying to push Macklin away but Macklin has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Sanchez tries to break the clinch but Macklin is controlling the position. Macklin jumps guard but Sanchez turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Sanchez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Macklin lands a head shot. Joseph Macklin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Macklin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sanchez.
Sanchez bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Macklin's head.

Macklin works the jab nicely. Sanchez ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Sanchez connects with a right hand. Macklin shakes it off. Sanchez staying out of range there. Sanchez shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Sanchez moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Macklin misses with a straight right. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sanchez uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Sanchez moves into range and connects with a jab.
Macklin is rocked! Sanchez is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Macklin hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vlad Fresh! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fresh cracks Hickock with a good jab. Hickock with a poor takedown and Fresh counters with a right hand to the body. Fresh lands with an uppercut that bounces Hickock off the cage and back into range. Hickock steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fresh. Fresh jabs Hickock right on the nose. Hickock blinks but takes it well. Hickock blocks a jab. Hickock shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fresh defends it nicely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fresh dips to his left and cracks Hickock with an uppercut! Fresh misses with a double jab.
Fresh jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hickock displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fresh throws out the jab. Fresh throws a hook but Hickock avoids it easily. Hickock shoots for a double leg takedown but Fresh sprawls well. He's pushed Hickock's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Eugene Hickock. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fresh throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice cross by Fresh. Hickock shoots in but no luck this time. A jab lands there for Fresh.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hickock uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fresh. Hickock uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fresh. Fresh misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Fresh. Hickock tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Fresh lands a shot to the body. Hickock lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Fresh backwards. A hook to the body from Fresh.
Hickock is working for takedown but Fresh is calmly controlling the position for now. Hickock is breathing heavily. Fresh tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Fresh lands a nice elbow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fresh effectively controlling the action here. A head punch blocked on the inside by Hickock. Hickock is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Fresh gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Hickock can't break the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fresh gets underhooks to prevent Hickock's takedown attempt.
Fresh has a couple of punches blocked by Hickock.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Fresh. Hickock has been working on his balance at CW's Elite Kung-Fu Academy, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Fresh. Fresh is leaning against Hickock and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Hickock blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Fresh content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Fresh lands on the inside with an uppercut. Fresh avoids a wild elbow strike from Hickock. Fresh taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

It looks like Richard Eugene Hickock has been cut. Fresh is leaning against Hickock and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Fresh softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Still in the clinch, Fresh scores with a nice short uppercut. Fresh lands a shoulder strike.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hickock drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fresh pulls his leg out and moves away.

Oh Hickock is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Fresh takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Fresh pounces like a tiger and cracks Hickock with a vicious hook! Hickock is down but not out! Fresh follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

It looks like Ernest Brockridge has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Carver tries to stand but Brockridge is controlling his head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brockridge parries the strikes from Carver easily there. Carver is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Brockridge to escape.
Carver fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Brockridge is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Carver looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Brockridge is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Carver asserts his dominance and retains side control. The strikes coming from Carver are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Carver scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Brockridge to see if he's OK. Brockridge parries the strikes from Carver easily there. Carver is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Brockridge to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carver tries to advance to mount but Brockridge denies him. Brockridge definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Carver wants to stand but Brockridge is controlling his arm. Brockridge prevents Carver from improving position. Carver keeps trying to improve his position. Brockridge tries to get back to half guard but can't. Carver is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Brockridge knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Carver has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Brockridge! Brockridge blocking the ground and pound. Carver wants to take his opponent's back but Brockridge doesn't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carver throwing strikes here but Brockridge is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Carver is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Brockridge to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Brockridge shrugs it off. Carver looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Carver throws some wild stikes that Brockridge manages to avoid easily.
Carver goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Brockridge is on top in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Carver is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Brockridge in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Brockridge's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brockridge trying to control the position from guard on top but Carver is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brockridge won't allow Carver to sweep him here. Carver has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Carver trying to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Ernest Brockridge wasn't doing enough on the ground. Brockridge misses with a double jab
letting Carver counter with a right hand. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Carver blocks a head kick by Brockridge.

Carver takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Brockridge moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Brockridge throws a right hand that Carver ducks under and follows up with a left that Carver also avoids with ease. Carver throws an overhand right that lands on Brockridge's shoulder, as Brockridge tries to avoid the shot. Carver misses with an attempted mid kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carver cracks Brockridge with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Carver throws a head kick that misses. Brockridge shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Carver counters with a body kick. Brockridge is breathing heavily. Brockridge lands a slapping body shot.
Carver jabbing away but nothing is landing. Nice body kick from Carver. Carver lands a leg kick that knocks Brockridge off balance momentarily. Carver lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Brockridge is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Carver Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Brockridge is out cold, face down on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Sultan Carver! Sultan Carver was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Funtov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Funtov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Funtov looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Funtov has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Funtov landing shots from mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Funtov landing strikes from the mount and Stevens is in trouble! Funtov loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Stevens scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Funtov land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Funtov stands and salutes the crowd.

Dredd throws a shot from downtown. Redyan moves away and avoids it. Redyan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Redyan lands in his opponent's guard. Dredd is looking to stand up but Redyan isn't so interested in that idea. Redyan looking to pass the guard. Redyan won't allow Dredd to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Redyan passes easily into side control. Nice work. Dredd is trying to get back to his feet. Dredd is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Dredd throws Redyan to one side and escapes! Dredd lands with an uppercut that bounces Redyan off the cage and back into range. Redyan shoots in for a takedown but Dredd shows good takedown defense. Dredd throws a right and a left that both miss. A left lands for Dredd.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dredd connects with a leg kick. Redyan looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Redyan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dredd. Dredd scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Dredd throws the kick towards the body but Redyan avoids it. Dredd throws a sloppy head kick and Redyan moves out of range easily. Dredd throws a one two combo.
Dredd throws a series of punches but Redyan avoids them all with ease. Redyan shoots for a takedown but Dredd saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dredd throws a sloppy head kick and Redyan moves out of range easily. Dredd throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Redyan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Redyan does a little dance to reset his feet. Redyan takes a shot right to the bread basket. Dredd scores with a nice head shot. Redyan avoids the head kick by Dredd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans throws a jab when Sabre was well out of range. Sabre is trying hard to land a takedown here. Evans sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Evans sizes up Sabre with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Evans throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Evans throws a low kick but Sabre avoids it. Sabre moves out of range of the strikes. Evans lands a big uppercut and Sabre crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sabre looks OK. Evans waves Sabre back to his feet! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Evans lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Sabre head around and knocks him out cold! Evans hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aaron Evans! After winning the bout, Aaron Evans thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Johnson! Johnson's coaches at Midnight MMA have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Te Huna is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Johnson has escaped the position, nice work there. Valor fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Noffsinger has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Prince Valor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Valor is looking to clinch but Noffsinger is avoiding it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Noffsinger punishes Valor's body with a nice straight punch. Noffsinger throws a lazy right hand but Valor sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Valor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Noffsinger swats him away and circles back towards the center. Noffsinger swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Noffsinger tries to bum rush Valor with a series of wild strikes but Valor uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Noffsinger throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Valor's head. Valor throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Percival Noffsinger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Valor leaves Noffsinger with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Noffsinger throws a jab when Valor was well out of range. Valor throws a jab when Noffsinger was well out of range. Noffsinger misses with a looping right.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Valor takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Valor uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Noffsinger has time to react. Noffsinger misses the jab. Noffsinger tries to close the distance and clinch but Valor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Noffsinger scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Valor doesn't seem bothered though. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Noffsinger fails in his attempt to clinch. Valor thows a left - swing and a miss! Valor works the jab nicely. Noffsinger rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Valor moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Valor throws a big shot that misses. Noffsinger misses with an uppercut
and Valor counters with a two punch combo. A head kick misses from Valor. Valor is looking to clinch. Valor takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Noffsinger tries to clinch but Valor moves out of range. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A low kick from Noffsinger misses and Valor counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Jab by Valor. Noffsinger scores with a sloppy right hand. Valor should have avoided that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Noffsinger shoots in looking for a takedown. Valor tries to sprawl out of it but Noffsinger keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Valor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Noffsinger misses with a looping right. Valor works the jab nicely. Valor walks forward, straight into a front kick from Noffsinger. Noffsinger shoots in but no luck this time. Valor is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. That's going to take a lot out of Percival Noffsinger. Valor doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Valor avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Noffsinger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Noffsinger ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Valor moves away. Valor misses with a hook. Noffsinger ducked under it nicely. Noffsinger jabs at Valor's body. This has been an exciting period of action! A momentary lapse in concentration from Valor enables Noffsinger to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Valor manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Valor is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Noffsinger defends well. Noffsinger wants to control from the top but Valor keeps moving. Noffsinger stands up over Valor, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Valor keeping moving, preventing Noffsinger from controlling successfully.

Noffsinger throws an elbow but Valor slips to the side and avoids it well. Noffsinger scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Valor to see if he's OK. Valor tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Noffsinger wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Valor gets back to half guard. Valor trying to control from the bottom.
Noffsinger is stalling here. Valor is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Noffsinger seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Valor has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Valor working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Valor throws a strike aimed at the side of Noffsinger's head but Noffsinger avoids it well. Valor is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Noffsinger is trying to escape and Valor transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Noffsinger is forced to tap! Nice work there by Valor! Very nice indeed!
