Teller feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
McCaleb is trying to control the position but Teller postures up.

McCaleb's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Teller is holding on here and McCaleb must be using up a lot of energy. Teller has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! McCaleb gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Nowak swats away the attempt to clinch by Lad.
Nowak tries to clinch up but Lad circles away and keeps his distance.
Lad tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nowak swivels and escapes.
Lad shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nowak pinned against the cage. Nowak gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nowak shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lad but Lad pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Nowak is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Lad is staying active.

Lad decides to stand up, so the ref orders Nowak to his feet.
Nowak throws a right hand that Lad ducks under and follows up with a left that Lad also avoids with ease.

That was a close round but I would say that Foxy Lad will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Julma changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McNutt tries to avoid it but Julma manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McNutt to the ground. McNutt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The ref is looking closely - Julma is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Julma is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
