Zebub throws a looping overhand right but Belmonte ducks down to avoid it.

Zebub lands a big head kick that sends Belmonte to the canvas! Zebub follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pigeon scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Lanny Poffo has been cut.
Poffo slips a jab from Pigeon.

Poffo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Our spies down at at Nights Watch MMA Academy inform us that Pigeon has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Pigeon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Poffo defends it easily.
We've been hearing that Poffo has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
