The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Thadani lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Karaev has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Karaev and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Thadani keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

The fight stays on the outside here - Yeong looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Yeong rushes Shi and presses him up against the ropes. Shi prevents a body shot from Yeong. Shi wants to break the clinch but can't.

It looks like Bolo Yeong has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yeong tries to close the distance and clinch but Shi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Shi counters with an outside leg kick.
A big left from Yeong misses. Shi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Yeong. Shi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Yeong to score with a decent uppercut. Yeong connects with a looping right hand.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Yeong throws a shot from downtown. Shi moves away and avoids it. Yeong is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Yeong tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Yeong pushing out the jab but it's not landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bolo Yeong will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Bolo Yeong's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
