The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marcos manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kingsley on his heels. He'll look to pass Kingsley's guard now, I'm sure. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Marcos throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kingsley utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Marcos in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kingsley being controlled here, momentarily. Kingsley looking for a guillotine here but Marcos defends easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kinder fails to land the takedown. Kinder scores with a hook. Kinder wants to clinch up but Ross keeps it at a distance. Kinder dives in and grabs Ross's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ross pushes down on Kinder's head and hops out. Ross tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Kinder manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ross throws a nice head kick!

Kinder is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice sprawl there from Ross as Kinder shoots in. Kinder is still on wobbly legs! Can Ross finish him? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khumalo goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Moses buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Moses shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Khumalo as he jumps to the side. Moses will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Khumalo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Moses. Khumalo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Moses.

Moses fails to land the takedown. Khumalo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leroy Moses. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Khumalo throws a leg kick but Moses sees it coming and moves out of range. Moses blocks a head kick by Khumalo.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Khumalo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Moses has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Moses and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Moses has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Khumalo. Khumalo looks to score with a jab to the body but Moses is just out of range. Khumalo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Moses moves away. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Khumalo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Khumalo throws a quick inside leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Moses might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. A solid body kick from Khumalo. Khumalo lands a body shot.
Khumalo misses with a body kick. Good exchange - Khumalo coming out on top. Khumalo cracks Moses with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Moses tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Khumalo pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Moses is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Hartley throws an elbow that misses. Andrew uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hartley's guard. Hartley thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Hartley seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Hartley is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Andrew wants to hold on but Hartley pushes him away. Hartley landing strikes from the mount. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Finkelton scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Nice body punch from Finkelton. Finkelton cracks Schnezner with a right hand to the side of the head. Finkelton scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Schnezner takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Finkelton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Schnezner manages to avoid it. Schnezner with a lazy takedown attempt and Finkelton counters with a stiff right hand. Schnezner on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Schnezner doesn't succeed with the takedown and Finkelton counters with a right hand to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Finkelton stuffs the takedown. Bart Finkelton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Schnezner. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Finkelton, as that shot connected.

Schnezner is rocked! Schnezner swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Finkelton scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Schnezner is still on wobbly legs! Can Finkelton finish him? Finkelton wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Finkelton throws a series of punches but Schnezner moves out of range. Finkelton scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Finkelton gets caught flat footed, as Schnezner shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schnezner's corner is telling him to maintain position. Schnezner seems to have recovered his senses. Schnezner passes Finkelton's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Schnezner passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Finkelton! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Schnezner content just to control the position here. Finkelton is working to get back to half guard.

Schnezner gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Finkelton. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Schnezner fails with a takedown attempt. Schnezner drops his hands momentarily and Finkelton takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Schnezner misses with a takedown attempt letting Finkelton counter with a right hand. Finkelton connects with a body shot that sends Schnezner's belly button to the back. Bart Finkelton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice shot lands for Finkelton. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Schnezner takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Finkelton throws a series of punches but Schnezner avoids them all with ease. Horrible takedown by Schnezner or perhaps it was just good defense by Finkelton which made him look bad. Schnezner seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Finkelton does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Finkelton wants to get back to full guard. Finkelton trying to control from the bottom.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Schnezner has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Schnezner can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Finkelton is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Schnezner shoots in looking for a takedown but Finkelton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Schnezner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Schnezner takes one on the button. Finkelton misses with a double jab.

Schnezner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Finkelton is fending him off so far but Schnezner persists. Nope, Finkelton circles away and we're back to standing. Bart Finkelton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Schnezner. Finkelton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Schnezner stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Finkelton keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Schnezner walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Schnezner has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Schnezner on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Finkelton connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Schnezner momentarily.
Finkelton with a jab. This has been an exciting period of action! Schnezner bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Schnezner happy to just control the position for now. Schnezner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Finkelton keeps working.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Schnezner has knee on belly and moves into mount. Finkelton is squirming around, avoiding Schnezner's attempts to control the action. Finkelton is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Finkelton is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at The Pit, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Schnezner fails to take his opponent's back. I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Finkelton connects with a single shot there. Good shot there by Finkelton. Schnezner dives in and grabs Finkelton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Finkelton pushes down on Schnezner's head and hops out. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Finkelton clobbers Schnezner with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Bart Finkelton is winning the standup battle so far. Finkelton lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Finkelton is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Schnezner like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Schnezner from another fist facial!

Tarasov swats away the attempt to clinch by Moore. Moore lands a two punch combo.

Tarasov lands with a cross. Moore moves in looking to clinch but Tarasov pushes him off. Tarasov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moore moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Moore throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Moore looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Tarasov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Moore fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tarasov checks it well. Donk. Tarasov catches Moore right on the button with a cross. A slow jab from Moore misses its intended target. Moore fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice shot by Tarasov.
Moore is rocked! Moore throws a solid leg kick but Tarasov takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Moore. Moore is still on wobbly legs! Can Tarasov finish him? Tarasov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Moore throws a leg kick but Tarasov sees it coming and checks it nicely. Moore seems to have recovered his senses. Tarasov checks a leg kick. Moore wants to clinch and Moore takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Tarasov lands with a shot to the body. Tarasov feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Moore sprawling to the canvas! Moore rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Tarasov finish him?!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tarasov lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Moore up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Tarasov from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Moore's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mikhail Tarasov! Mikhail Tarasov retains his lightweight title! Mikhail Tarasov decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
