The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
van de Reuzel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten van de Reuzel somewhat.

Gro shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gro was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
van de Reuzel wants to control but Gro is having none of it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if van de Reuzel can do anything to dispel that myth.
van de Reuzel wants to use the ropes to get back to his feet here.
