3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kira Kato! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kuba Wojcik! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kato fails to land the takedown. The fight stays on the outside here - Wojcik looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Wojcik doesn't manage to clinch there - Kato circles away.
Wojcik throws a sloppy head kick and Kato moves out of range easily. Kato shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kato could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Kato changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wojcik tries to avoid it but Kato manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wojcik to the ground. Wojcik escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kira Kato. That's going to take a lot out of him. A solid body kick from Wojcik. Wojcik looks winded! Kato drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Kato trying to control the position but Wojcik is working away. Kato has hold of Wojcik's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Wojcik seems comfortable defending it but Kato has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Wojcik is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Wojcik is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kato couldn't care less - he's delighted!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adoov scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Glen wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Glen has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Adoov is landing a low percentage of strikes. Glen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Adoov is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Glen is trying to escape and Adoov transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Glen is forced to tap! Nice work there by Adoov! Very nice indeed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Aja Adoov! Aja Adoov is the new bantamweight champion! Aja Adoov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Helms closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Moore did well to prevent Helms getting side control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Helms seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Moore is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Helms scoring with strikes to the body and head. Moore keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Moore is trying to control but can't.
Ground and pound from Helms. Helms wants to control but Moore is keeping him busy. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Moore is trying to stand.

Helms winds up and cracks Moore with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Helms lands strikes from half guard. Helms trying to control from half guard but Moore is working away. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Helms grinds an elbow into Moore's temple. Moore is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Helms looks up at the clock and then as Moore takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Helms smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Moore is rocked! Helms landing a few strikes. Moore is still in real trouble! Can Helms finish him? The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Helms trying to control the action but Moore is working from the bottom. Moore seems to have recovered his senses. Helms lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hunter Helms dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Helms is stalking Moore. Moore circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Helms, and it's lights out! Moore really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lloyd tries a head kick but it misses.
Lloyd moves in looking to clinch but Talbert pushes him off. Dell Lloyd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Talbert pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lloyd back to the cage. Talbert follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Dell Lloyd has been cut. Talbert scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Lloyd is rocked! OH! Lloyd has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Talbert smells blood and charges in for the finish! Talbert unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Lloyd sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Schtrappe sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jackson somewhat. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jackson is defended easily by Schtrappe. Jackson tries to clinch but Schtrappe moves away and Schtrappe counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Schtrappe feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jackson's calf. Schtrappe lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Reggie Jackson has been cut. Schtrappe looks to land a combination. Jackson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Jackson throws a head kick but Schtrappe moves out of range.

Jackson is rocked! A nice inside leg kick there by Schtrappe. That's going to slow Jackson down. Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jackson is breathing heavily. Schtrappe lands an uppercut, right on the button! Jackson tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
