The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kami avoids it really well and circles away. Kami fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Khan to the ground. Kami is now in Khan's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kami stopping the sweep attempt from Khan. Kami postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Khan seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Khan is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Kami must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kami with a flurry of punches that miss. Kami drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kami jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Khan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kami's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kami not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

But Kami has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Kami! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Khan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kami! Khan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Khan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kami for as long as he can get away with. Khan lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Jyllendael goes for a double leg but Rad avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rad continues to drive forward. Rad manages to break the clinch.
