1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeru Takeya! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takeya darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kimono has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Takeya is working away from the top position though. Takeya trying to mount his opponent but Kimono defends it. Takeya is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The fighters are battling for position here. Kimono manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Kimono might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Takeya is in close to Kimono's body, working some short punches and elbows. There ya go! There ya go! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kimono is pushing down on Takeya's leg trying to pass to half guard. Takeya is fighting to maintain full guard but Kimono has managed to sneak the leg through.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gein tries to keep control of the position but Chan is staying busy. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takeru lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
McMarty tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Takeru manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A low kick from McMarty is predictable there and Takeru counters with a thumping low kick. Takeru swats away the attempt to clinch by McMarty. McMarty fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Takeru avoids it really well and circles away. McMarty dives in and grabs Takeru's left leg, looking for a takedown. Takeru pushes down on McMarty's head and hops out. Takeru fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. McMarty throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
McMarty walks forward, straight into a front kick from Takeru. Takeru stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Takeru wants it to stay on the feet. Takeru Takeru has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George McMarty. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Takeru lands a glancing blow to the side of McMarty's head. McMarty takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mir has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pigface. Pigface thows a leg kick but Mir checks it and Mir counters with a head kick that drops Pigface to the mat! Pigface scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pigface looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Mir looks to clinch and Pigface counters with a good low kick that Mir was not able to check. Pigface throws a leg kick but Mir checks it. Pigface turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Pigface stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Mir tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pigface sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mir somewhat. Mir throws a lazy head kick and Pigface connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Mir walks forward, straight into a front kick from Pigface. A low kick from Pigface misses and Mir counters with a nice low kick that buckles Pigface's knee momentarily. Mir tries for a takedown but Pigface circles away easily and Pigface counters with an inside leg kick. Mir avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Mir shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pigface pinned against the cage. Pigface gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Mir. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mir fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Tony Pigface showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Mir's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Mir is looking to break free of the clinch but Pigface has double underhooks. Mir is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Pigface to keep the fight standing. Mir is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pigface pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Mir.
