1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zachary Jones! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Please wants to clinch. Jones has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Please shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Jones is pressed up against the cage. Please has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jones down to the mat. Jones avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Please paws at him with a jab and circles away. Zachary Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Please throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range. Please shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kick Please. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones stuns Please with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Please keeps the fight on the outside. Jones closes the distance and clinches. Jones wants a takedown.

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jones keeps the fight on the outside. Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's one minute gone in the round. Please throws a looping overhand right but Jones ducks down to avoid it. Please wants to clinch and Jones counters with a stiff right hand. Jones tries to clinch there but Please circles away.
Jones smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Please fails to land the takedown. Please on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Please closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jones's guard. Please is fighting to break Jones's control of his arms but Jones is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Please pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones pulls Please in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones kicks Please off and gets to his feet. Jones shoots in for a takedown but Please shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jones closes the distance and clinches. Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jones tries to throw a body punch but Please avoids it by throwing Jones back against the cage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jones creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Jones gets a trip takedown into half guard. Jones is working for a kimura here but Please manages to reverse the position and he's now in Jones's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Please trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Please looking to pass the guard. Please is looking to pass into half guard but Jones pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jones is in guard. Jones looking to sit in guard and control but Please gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Please prevents Jones from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Please would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Jones is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Please really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jones stalling against the cage.
Jones is trying to break free. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones drags the fight down to the ground.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hotaru Kurosaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhang Zong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hotaru Kurosaki had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurosaki tries to clinch up. Kurosaki looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Zong instigates a clinch. Zong escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zong tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kurosaki pushes Zong up against the cage in a clinch. Kurosaki has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Zong regains guard immediately. Zong controls Kurosaki momentarily but Kurosaki frees himself. Zong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Zong seems keen to control Kurosaki's posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Zhang Zong was stalling too much, according to the referee. Zong gets a double leg takedown into Kurosaki's guard. Kurosaki keeping full guard, as Zong tries to pass. Zong looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Zong stands up and waves to Kurosaki to follow him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zong is looking to clinch but Kurosaki is avoiding it.
Zong lands a head kick. Kurosaki smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Zong has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kurosaki is landing a low percentage of strikes. Zong shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kurosaki defends it nicely. Kurosaki displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Zong. This has been an exciting period of action! Zong changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kurosaki tries to avoid it but Zong manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kurosaki to the ground. Kurosaki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hotaru Kurosaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zhang Zong.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zong gets a clinch. Zong is trying to pull guard but Kurosaki has him pressed against the cage. Zong wants to stall.

Kurosaki has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Zong controls Kurosaki momentarily but Kurosaki frees himself. Zong pulls Kurosaki in close to prevent any damage. Zong looking for a sweep. Not yet Zong, not yet. Zong manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kurosaki is looking for a takedown. Zong pressing his opponent against the cage. Zong tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Zong is pushing down on Kurosaki's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kurosaki is fighting to maintain full guard but Zong has managed to sneak the leg through. Zong is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Zong stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Kurosaki to get to his feet. Zong lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Zong.
Kurosaki is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zong shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Kurosaki is on queer street and Zong is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buhay ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Jab from Van Buren. Van Buren jabbing away but nothing is landing. Buhay showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Van Buren.
Van Buren throws a right and a left that Buhay avoids nicely. No joy there for Van Buren, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Buhay scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Buhay working Van Buren over with strikes. We've been hearing that Buhay has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Buhay looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Buhay trying to control the pace. Buhay working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Buhay seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Van Buren is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lirving tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dsafdsfqw paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lirving shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dsafdsfqw but Dsafdsfqw pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lirving fails with a takedown attempt. Lirving ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Lirving stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lirving wants it to stay on the feet. Dsafdsfqw changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lirving looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Dsafdsfqw thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Dsafdsfqw tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dsafdsfqw has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lirving trying his best to control but Dsafdsfqw has mounted him.

Lirving could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kyrie Lirving. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lirving tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dsafdsfqw defends well and Lirving ends up having to push Dsafdsfqw into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Lirving breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Lirving frees his head nicely. Oh but Dsafdsfqw has switched to an armbar! Lirving is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Pacioretty throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Jenkins throws a head kick that misses and Jenkins takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Pacioretty takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Jenkins throws a series of punches but Pacioretty avoids them all with ease. Jenkins stuffs the takedown. Jenkins buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pacioretty chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jenkins can pounce on him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jenkins throws a sloppy head kick and Pacioretty moves out of range easily. Pacioretty shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jenkins manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Pacioretty sitting in guard here, content to control. Pacioretty pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jenkins is keeping the position for now.

Pacioretty throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Pacioretty throwing strikes but missing. Pacioretty trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Pacioretty has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pacioretty accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Pacioretty working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Pacioretty won't allow Jenkins to get back to his feet. Pacioretty lands a couple of decent looking shots. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jenkins can do anything to dispel that myth. Pacioretty trying to control the position from guard on top but Jenkins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jenkins wants to stand up but Pacioretty is controlling him. Pacioretty with a nice head shot there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pacioretty engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Jenkins looking to control but Pacioretty passes into half guard.
Jenkins on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Pacioretty looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jenkins with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Pacioretty lands with a punch from half guard.
Jenkins is rocked! Pacioretty seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Jenkins is still in real trouble! Can Pacioretty finish him? Sancio throws a low kick but it's checked well by Shinoki . A chopping leg kick lands by Sancio. Shinoki throws a series of punches but Sancio moves out of range. Shinoki looks to land a combination but Sancio avoids it well. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Obradovic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Obradovic wants it to stay on the feet. Obradovic slips a straight right by Hitoshi. Hitoshi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Obradovic can pounce on him.
